Nice job Mike. I also saw the video from Brit workshop a couple of months ago and was wondering when it was available in the US. I believe the table extension alone is $ 150.00 if that's just what someone wants. Cant wait till you get going on projects with wood again.
When you was driving the screws in and the drills weren’t strong enough it might be cause you had the drills on setting 2. It does that with me so try setting 1. Another great video 👍
Mike, I got one of these...your vid helped GREATLY in the assembly...I have one problem though...the ONE shelf that comes on it...keeps slipping down...even after I've snapped down/in the green side clips....Is there some way to tighten these that I'm missing? Thanks!
André van Berkel besides the table folding up on the MFTC cart, really nothing. You would need to add more draws to the 1000 to add up to the draws I put on the MFTC. There bot very good. I still us my MFTC on my installs in my business
After a few years do you still use this thing? I’m thinking something like this could be useful but I’m not too sure, often festool has great ideas but the product has some absurd flaw
ecaramanica77 besides the price lol Festool are woodworking tools they have drywall sanders and a hammer drill but there for woodworking. Milwaukee has woodworking tools buy there big into all the trades. If you like e mail me your info and we could talk one day about it. My e mail is bellow in the description. Mike
In all seriousness, you know if you own a tool or two by Festool I wouldn't be asking that but with ALL these Festools that you own, do you get these free or do you spend paychecks upon paychecks on these gadgets?!
Order in Chaos the way I buy most of my tools is I sell other tools to buy what I want. I sold my friend a Miller welder to buy my Festool Kapex. I’ve been doing this for years. Thanks for the comment
@@TheBuddylab That's funny, just last week I was thinking about selling my Miller mig welder that I bought about 6 years ago for $1200 and NEVER used once. It's sitting in the garage all wrapped up. I haven't even connected the Argon gauge to the tank. That was something I definitely didn't need so I fully understand your point. BTW, Easy on the cigar while you're out of breath it's not good for you. You seem like a good guy. Great Channel.
Thank you from london uk. I found the instructions a bit iffy, so your video helped me. Now I'm all set up! I need more Systainers too ☺️
Am I the only one that was wondering how long it was gonna take fo that drill to fall off the MFT?!
Bryan Lance I knew it was going to fall. Oh well at least I have a rubber floor lol
How do we replace the table top?

Hi Mike, you built 2 years ago the Timothy Wilmots MFTC. Could you make a comparison between the MW1000 and the MFTC?
André van Berkel besides the table folding up on the MFTC cart, really nothing. You would need to add more draws to the 1000 to add up to the draws I put on the MFTC. There bot very good. I still us my MFTC on my installs in my business
When connected to the MFT/3, do the tops sit flush? It looks like the height of the extension table was sitting a little higher.
coacheuls it the same height, I went and checked it. Thanks for the comment
Man how much money did you spend for all the festool I already spent like about 6000
Does a kapex 60 fit on the top part ?
After a few years do you still use this thing? I’m thinking something like this could be useful but I’m not too sure, often festool has great ideas but the product has some absurd flaw
Mike, I'm new to woodworking and I was curious what the difference between, say Milwaukee and Festool is?
