I went through Canfranc in 1987 when I was InterRailing across Europe. I had been to Pau and Bedous in the French Pyrenees a few years before, and so I knew there were SNCF buses going south into Spain so, when I had an InterRail card I persuaded my friend to return and follow it. It was so cool! The station building was decrepit and grass grew across the tracks. We waited for hours for the one afternoon train to Madrid, and then it rattled its way through that wonderful countryside, under hilltop villages that I promised myself I would return to and explore one day but have thus far not yet managed. Glad the station has been renovated but it's lost some of its magic.
I like those bars under the table because it stops the person opposite you hogging all the floor space. Although I would never actually sit at a table seat as this annoys me too much! Great video, Canfranc looks amazing.
Thank you, I have to say this is something that can be improved in general on my video's (quality). I'm using a GoPro 8 and a DJI marvic mini drone. Most of my video's are only recorded with a gopro 8.

Are the trains to/from Zaragoza reliable? I’m planning a day trip in October (hostel in Zaragoza) but don’t want to be stranded in Canfranc if the final train of the day does not run.
Wij zijn er in 2011 geweest! Toen was het nog 1 grote bende. Maar dat had zijn charme. Beauty in decay!
After seeing a TV program about Canfranc, I rode there from the UK on my way to Portugal on my motorcycle. I stayed at the hotel and it was amazing.

Based on my experience, they are reliable. However, if you travel, things might always go a bit differently as planned.

So the train is actually a Spanish version of the Danish IC3 (the famous rubber nosed train), but it hasn't aged well.
