    Im a big fan of the stock wheel the same as fitted to the XR in Australia except ours were white

    Use the thicker compression gaskets

    You can buy an adjustable vacuum modulator for the transmission that will alter your 1 - 2 shift point.

      They are all adjustable. I gave this one a turn and it made no difference. The 'green stripe' version is supposed to be the best. Considering my options.

    The distributor shaft may be wiggling

    IT WOULD BE NICE TO HEAR THE ENGINE RUN.....YOU SAID THAT WE HEARD THE MOTOR RUN AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS VIDEO.....BUT I RE-PLAYED THE VIDEO AND THERE WAS NO ENGINE RUNNING SECTION OF THIS VIDEO.....

      Should be a quick clip of it idling at the start. Next one will definitely have it, assuming I fix the hunting idle problem.
