Many, many years ago, when I was young and hopeful and full of life, I was in West Sussex as an au pair for a summer and Petworth house is one of the places I visited back then. Thanks for bringing me back to those memories. I actually don’t really remember the place, but I do remember the feeling of discovery and enthusiasm and just sheer joy to be there. ❤

@@frecklesforties and did you enjoy the strawberries or didn’t you? Those are pretty famous here in Italy, but the trademark product of Fabbri is actually jarred cherries, called “amarene”. They are pretty pricey even here but they are a little treat
