My biggest this year so far is a 45" Tiger. Not complaining though. Im proud of it, but the season isnt over yet.
How often do you catch a musky?
A 45 inch tiger is a very nice fish. 😊
A 45 inch tigers more impressive than a 48 inch normal
Nice one
A forty five inch tiger is giant
had to get my left lower leg amputated. so iam waiting to get back fishing southern lake michigan . any way in the mean time iam watching your videos really enjoying your skill and am learning as i watch. so thank you very much.
Great video, thanks. Really looking forward to using Leviathan Twists this year. My biggest of '23 was 44 inches.
That's awesome- thank ypu very much. Good luck!
Been watching you guys for awhile and just stumbled across this video. Funny thing is your fishing the same lake I have a place on and have been fishing for the last 15 years!!
Ha- thanks. Cool place.
Way to go guys she was a beauty with some scars love the channel keep up the good work always looking forward to the next video keep your hooks sharp and rock on boys👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great baits Lee! My biggest this year was 50 1/4 25" girth. Pennsylvania. Love the channel! Good luck finishing up the year!
Awesome
Nice musky Lee, my biggest so far this year is 48.
Biggest so far 51.25. Love the channel guys.
hes a New world Man throwing a new Lee Lure
Looks like your not the only suckers in the boat 😂. Get em boys
Lee dressed like he's ice fishing, Robbie dressed like he's from MN
We were actually talking about that...the difference between wearing an extra heavy cotton hoodie (Rob) and a performance fleece hoodie (Lee). The cotton is much warmer.
It's officially cotton hoodie time of year.
Biggest is a 47 out of the WI river mid summer! Top water 😍
Ghosting Muskies sweet
50 3/4 :) from Montreal area. Same fish was caught 2 months later by a fellow Muskies Canada member, 800m away, during a tournament and won him 1st place.
From Indiana so don’t fish nearly as much Musky as I would like, but spent some time in Canada this year and my biggest was a 46”
My biggest this year was just over 51 inches!!😁
Nice
Biggest one this year was a 48
That was in June. Seem to have gotten smaller as the year went on but they were chunky as all heck. Still git some time left for a 50" 👍👍👍
My biggest and new PB tiger came in early summer this year measuring at
50 1/4 inches
Holy crap
Never got the chance for big fish this year. Probably caught my highest amount of musky under 40". The pike came out this year like banshee. Low water levels and high temps kept me off the water for most of the season.
Yeah has been a tough season for us
My biggest this year is a 41. Built like a freight train though
47" Top water river musky. U.p. Michigan My PB
Lee , wondering on your lures why such less clear coat and sealer than other makers. It seems they hook rash so fast for you. I know it’s likely a time and money thing but for the premium cost I would think it would be much thicker for protection and last longer? And not much sealer clear in the weight holes. Maybe it’s all good or something I don’t know. Keep costs down too I’m sure but they are such nice baits.
First to keep the cost down. But also the problem with epoxy is once a bit of it fails then it will continue to peel off the rest of the lure and often make it not run properly.
A lure really needs a minimum of 4 coats of epoxy for it to hold up at all which is a bunch a labor costs.
I used to to the Leviathans in epoxy coat but labor times were quadrupled making it unaffordable for most.
Epoxy is to catch the fisherman- not the fish.
Right on. Thanks. Does it effect the wood getting water logged or rotting faster though once hook rashed deep enough? Your baits paint is soo good/beautiful hate having them bash up so quickly. Suppose could just keep clear coating them once a while.
@@SolidMango-gh3jk they are sealed with a special sealer and will last a LONG time.
Lee: a few years ago you did a video showing how to make a sucker harness with a triangular shaped nose clip to attach the sucker to the harness. I noticed here that you're not using it and have a different harness. Is there a reason why you changed? I'm wondering if the harness with clip didn't work very well? Maybe it didn't have a good hook up ratio?
Just something I noticed and wondered about.
No reason other than I was in Robbies boat using his rods which are rigged differently than mine.
@TodaysAngler OK. That makes sense. I thought maybe it had something to do with the harness itself. Thanks, Lee.
That new jerkbait looks awesome in the water.
Do you run polarized filters on the cameras? Might help the fish show up on film.
We do.
A Sconnie 45” is the same as a Sota 50”?? You guys might need to revisit what a ruler is 😂😂😂
Comparedly speaking of course
Which pole mount are you using with the Garmin?
Roberto... what "fish finder" do ya use. Chart/ navi/ gps device. Whatever we callem nowadays.
Helix 10 and 12
@@TodaysAngler both?!?? What techs on it. Livescope? Just starting to get into good tech n learning. Only thing im missing. Thanks man
Do you recommend z sucker rigs? One hook or two and have tried their fluocarbon rigs? Thanks, good video as always.
Two hook and haven't tried the fluoro
Do you like the chaos tackle rods? Have you ever broken any? i just bought one and want to if it’s good.
They have been amazing for us. Flawless.
@@TodaysAngler Thank you!!!
If your tails don’t run tru on the medussa. How to get them so the tails run right. Thanks in advance
Not sure if you mean the lure body spins a bit but you can bend the head slightly the opposite direction it's favoring.
@@TodaysAngler no just the tails. They get tangled when retrieving it. Any way the tails don’t get tangled
why are pike not as desired as musky?
They are too easy
Easier, more common, don't fight as hard, or grow as big.
We definitely like the bigger ones and often target them in the fall and winter.
Hi, because of their size I believe, muskies are bigger, so more attractive from trophy catch perspective. Also this figure 8 and topwater bites makes musky fishing something else compared to pike fishing. I'd say, because of musky nature, it is way more emotional and trophy oriented. But this hobby requires more effort and investments. Pike is like more regular game fishing fun - to some extent effortless and relaxing
