The album is called Sex And Violence with art cover depicting a degenerate society. What I got from the song as a young man was a cautionary tale for when I got older to use discernment when making sure a woman was an appropriate age for relations. I also got a lesson on not to blindly trust authority because many of these people use their authority for perversions. The forum members don't seem to have much depth in there analyzing and purposely supplement scoffing laughter and rudimentary logic to win over their audience. As for the allegations on AB I think many people are waiting for some charges, trial, conviction or something concrete.

Ok, this is a touchy subject. In my, in MYYYYYYYY community at the age of 14,15,16 most of the Guys that were dating my female classmates were old enough to drive CARS. These Ngghz had jobs and apartments. Is it Right? Hell FKN NO!!!!!! But it was rampant in our communities. I don't know what KRS intention purpose for this video. For me and the people I hung with it was Awareness that older guys were doing this. And they were.
Same thing with "Loves Gonna Getcha" the story about Rob is more relatable to me because THIS is an actual comparison to the lifestyle I lived. This song could've been perfectly fiction, the life experience O was getting into made it a real relatable song. I'm not defending KRS1 I'm for myself trying to see the purpose for this song. Personally think this song is fkn horrible. But I've seen this throughout my teens over a handful of times. Molestation is a real thing in the Black Community and in my experiences the parents knew about it. Some were on drugs, some were single mothers, the boyfriend was actually like a distant relative and helped the mother out. About him not giving a Fk he should be held accountable for those words. Whether taken out of context or deliberately he should've issued an apology. I don't give a damn if Bambaataa is your Father you don't stand next to these allegations. And if asked "Yo I didn't know that, I don't know what happened, I hope whoever the victims are find justice with whatever this is and I'm not familiar with anything having to do with that". I'm sure he could've chose his words better. I don't GAF is not cool.

Before Krs One wrote 13 and good he wrote another one where he said he wasn't into little girls but grown women who could match his intellect.
When he said he doesn't give a eff he was saying 'who am I to judge'. He is clearly upset seeing as he has been bigging up Bambataa for past 30 plus years as the father of Hip Hop. When you are on road/street you come across questionable characters all the time. I personally keep any interactions with them short and keep it moving. These people are nothing to do with me. I have my own life to live. Unless their foolishness affects me and mine then eff em.

I love KRS One I REALLY DO! But I feel like there's only a HANDFUL of times where producers make a beat RIGHT w/ his flow.
I feel like if he made an album with nothing but straight up HITS! not to exclude the teacha's teachings that would be the end all be all to solidify him at least 1 classic album.
He has SONGS that are great but I dont feel he's had a GREAT ALBUM (Non skippable) from start to finish and you know every word and love every beat.
I think if he teamed up with:
    -Madlib
    -DJ Premier
    -The Alchemist
    -The RZA
    -Hitboy
    -CookinSoul
    -& Pete rock
    He'd be good.

Once you in, yeah you can still be competative, but all that my group better than your group stuff and REAL BEEF is played out and helps NOBODY! At the most you'll have creative differences with another artist which makes them not want to work with you right now, but not working with someone because they're on a different team? At that level I think it's stupid and I doubt it happens like that.

I'm so damn glad I wasn't born in this generation. The ears of the youth of today are way too damn sensitive, and their intellect too narrow. This song is merely a satire of real-life situations that happened then and continue to happen now. It wasn't meant to be taken literally, and definitely not under a Me Too mentality. How is that my generation as teenagers back then understood this, yest adults of today cannot? A lot of well-known artists had songs about underage girls back then, because that was prevalent occurrence the time. KRS One probably would say things differently with regards to Africa Bambaataa if the allegations are true. We don't know for sure, because none of us were there. What he was saying is that regardless of the verdict on Bamabaataa of whether or not he did those horrible things, his contribution to Hip Hop still stands, just as R. Kelly is still the modern King of R&B. R. Kelly gave us great music, so does that mean we have to pretend we all don't like his music and have favorites of his? It's like going to a museum and seeing a nude painting or sculpture, are we too immature to appreciate the art and are we now going to view the artists themselves as perverts? Or, can we appreciate the art of and for itself.
