According to the Bill Wyman book alot of these concerts in 64 65 and 66 ended in riots and total chaos. The Beatles had the screaming girls but The Stoned though not as big had the screaming girls and lots of adolescent boys ready to go crazy!
I was reading online about Brian and discovered 2 things.. he could play any instrument he picked up- within 10 to 15 minutes he would master it... also he was talking to John Lennon after playing sax on a Beatles song. Lennon told him to stop whining and start another group. And he decided John was correct. And then he was to form an Anglo-American Supergroup. Had he lived something good would have happened.
@@rickb4806 I've read the same, that he was eemarkable at picking up instruments and learning them very quickly. They even spoke of him playing an old instrument they'd found in a castle.
@@Methilde You do not know what you are talking about. What instrument do you play Brian hater??? I play guitar, bass and harmonica and I’m a Brian fan. Brian was no virtuoso on those odd instruments but he could get something out of them pretty fast and lay down a track. He elevated quite a few Stones songs with those odd instruments. He recorded 27 different instruments with the Stones. Not bad for someone who you and Rick B always put down!
I was there. Made my way down from the balcony to the front row. The only thing separating me from Brian Jones was an overturned white park bench
KAREN FALCH lucky you

Brian was fire.
The B&W high-contrast MOS 16mm film was properly transferred.

The Norwegian public loves foreign languages : they speak to British musicians by shouting "une autre ! une autre !" in French !
as a Norwegian no one does that.
Strange but true, it's not the soundtrack of this show.
from 3:11 only thing you can hear is Wyman's bass and Charlie's drums.
på ca 1.17 ser dere en ung Lillebjørn Nilsen
And to think their still rockin 2020
I think he feels alright.
5:42 see Ian Stewart (former pianist) standing to our left of stage.
He was with them until he die.
he was a “founding member”

@@rickb4806 Some one who has never seen an instrument in real and of course never play one note, typically a Brian's fan.
