First of all i dont wanna be polemic and I know its completely different brand, segment, etc. But this looks so much like Mazda CX-50 with awesome wheels.
Jeep always build the greatest concept vehicles. If I was a automotive designer or engineer I would want to work for Jeep because they drive them off road unlike other auto makers that build concepts just to tease at a auto show.
If Jeep doesn't build I will have to buy the regular one and then customise it to look EXACTLY like this one. I absolutely love the colour scheme, wheels and especially the interior colour scheme. WOW!
I just lease a new Overland 4XE and this car is awesome. Super quite, air like ride, very comfortable for tall people, interior is very nice. Jeep did good on this one.
I own a 2021 Rubicon and it is a dream to drive around town. Smooth and quiet with the silky 3.6L and 8-speed trans. It’s a hardtop with the Mopar headliner and Alpine stereo that just rocks! What a vehicle! I just shake my head when people like you guys say it doesn’t drive good on road. I don’t know what you’re talking about!

Holy cow what an awesome color scheme! Interior and exterior colors are a SWEET tie in. I don’t typically buy vehicles on a color basis, but this just pops!
One thing I really like about the new GC is how they mimicked the lines on the ZJ, but definitely updated for a modern look. It's a nice nod to the classic roots of GC.
Nathan, I am with you on so many levels. I have a 2000 Grand Cherokee that has turned into a real beast on the trails but still has that luxury for the street.

@@wonderfulhorizon, Any vehicles reliability really depends on how well one takes care of it and follows the scheduled maintenance intervals in the owners manual at a minimum. I maintain mine at a hire level because I use it off- road much more than normal. Jeeps, especially Solid Axle Jeeps are of a pretty hardy construction. They’re built for the rigors of backcountry exploration. My GC has been stout. When the factory 4.7l V8 developed a rod knock at roughly 187,000 miles I LS swapped it. It’s my second WJ. I love the platform. I for one would own another one in heart beat.

I love this thing too. I'm a big Grand Cherokee fan anyway, having owned ZJs, WJs, and a WK as well. They are a perfect blend of family vehicle and off road beast. They executed that blend well with this concept.
@@borisscepanovic1684 I don’t know exact but it will be a little better than the Wrangler 4xe. Website shows 49mpge for the Wrangler and 56mpge for the GC in this form. So I presume that will translate to 1-2mpg more when running on dead dinosaurs.

It is a beautiful machine blending a unique mix of luxury, power, and aggressive/off road and I smile every time I drive it. I haven't actually checked my MPG I just passed 500 miles have filled the tank once already and have about 150 remaining on the current tank. I don't expect to drive it much (I work from home and traded in my 20 Rubicon w/only 17500 miles). Fuel economy wasn't a priority for me, either. I haven't yet charged the EV so I would say currently I am avergaing low to mid 20's MPG??. Which is fine with me, considering that I havent even charged it yet, and I have an engine that has the same HP as the Hemi V8 5.7 but it much more efficient!

This reminds me of what I did with my 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I added a MFC 2 inch lift kit and 30.5” Falken Wildpeak AT3/W (stock is 29”) which increased my ride height by 3 inches. It feels much more rugged and like you mentioned with the GC it should come this way stock. I wish I could add photos on YT posts to show you!
Stock tire size is 30”, and going up 0.5” in tire size would lift you 0.25”. You can fit 33” tires on your GC with some cutting, that’s what I did to mine then you gain 1.5” of lift from the tires alone
Yes, stock wheels are 30.5. You can put 265/65R18 without any modifications and you get 31.5. I didn't know you can add any lift to Trailhawk, though, because it has air suspension. But it goes to 11" anyways! Great car!
2015 WK Limited. 18" wheels with +30mm offset (stock is +55) lets me run 32s with no lift.....And my offset isn't nearly as ridiculous as that concept. The benefit is I don't have to have the air suspension, which rides like garbage off road. At some point I'll add the lift to get more clearance, but can't complain.
I love that color! Interior seat color and concept is cool, but I could go for a different color combo. Those wheels though are awesome!!! I have a ‘17 Trailhawk with the 18” wheels and I wish they had put different ones from the rest of the GC lineup on it.
my first thought for the rhino liner on the roof was for when you go through brush and the branches dont scratch the a pillar and roof. my a pillar paint is scratched to hell and back.
15” rims, with 33x10.5s. The brakes were big enough on the JKU to lock up 33s at interstate speeds, yet 15s still fit over the calipers. Swap on some braided stainless hoses and the braking was even better. A blowout at interstate speeds could be interesting with 33s on 15s though. 40s on 17s too though.

That Jeep GC looks amazing, don’t care if it ever goes off road, now they need to lower the 4Xe pricing by $5500, cause 20-22 miles in Electric mode is pathetic. Boost that up to 100 miles on Electric and make it a V6 Hybrid.
So do something entirely different. K. If youre gonna put enough battery weight for 100 miles it needs to just be a 300 mile electric because its gonna be stupid heavy with both

This thing looks fantastic! I love the interior and the color scheme, even the rhino liner. I think the only thing that I would change would be the wheels and tires, I'd go with the smallest diameter wheel that would fit, and a narrower tire for a less bro-ey look.

That is sweet. I love everything on the outside. Once you drive the 4Xe platform you fall in love with it. I do however want this era cherokee with a hemi option though. As the Hurricane 6 develops I may change my mind though.

It sucks that Jeep doesn't offer those seats. Heck, just that color of leather would be awesome. Instead you can only get the Trailhawk with black leather/suede seats. Still, it's a very nice SUV. That concept flat out rocks. I'd pimp it if Jeep offered it.
I think the engine will keep charge in the battery. If you select the e-save mode and the max regen button, it can recharge the battery too (but may take sometime as I don’t know what level the engine charges at normally).
Jeep should build this, I’d upgrade my 12’overland. It’s about that time. Not to mention if you can build and sell slammed supercharged Jeeps, you can certainly build and sell this.

I am shopping for a daily-driver-that-can-also-go-offroad, and I showed the Wrangler 4xe to my wife: she said Hell No. I showed the GC 4xe to her, and it's her top choice for what I get. When I'm spending $60k+, my life is infinitely easier when my wife is on-board with the decision. I'm getting a GC 4xe.
Would be nice if it were built on base grand Cherokee platform, or even better on base L platform. This way if built is another $100k vehicle that most can't afford....

I have both, a 2020 JTR and a 2017 GC Trailhawk. Love my Gladiator but on road the Grand Cherokee makes it feel like a Flintstone’s car.

....And they put low profile "mud tires" on it.. wtf! Should have put 18" rims with bigger off road tires.

The exterior color is the exact same color as our 2018 Renegade its called Anvil Gray !!!!

The Big Space from the top of the tyres to Wheel Arch is Brilliant and Looks how it should as opossed to LR no wheel travel

I don't know if you've covered it but when the battery goes dry can the engine recharge it or do you have to plug it in?

The Black Rear Quarter Panel ought meet a Floating Roof and be parallel front edge /rear edge and Vented.
Compared to the air suspension on the defender, this setup seems a lot more active in the highest setting.
