I only found Geoff today. First comment I made was referencing how he can sing bass and is also a fantastic tenor. Not many can sing such a range as he can.
This is one of my absolute favourites by Geoff - it's such a cool, unique cover. I really love the backing harmonies and the sound effects he's added to the track. Gives it a sort of haunted vibe. So good!
I am hands down agreeing with you on it being a favorite. Jesus it’s so good. And I legit only listened to it 20 minutes ago cause I wasn’t able to when it came out. That’s just how good it is.
He does have God given talent. But I think we can all thank his parents, teachers and anyone else that contributed to his work ethic. He wouldn’t continue to get better without a tremendous amount of practice and dedication.
I love your reactions of Geoff, and voice play, your a awesome singer as well, keep up the great work. I enjoyed when you reacted to geoff singing Misty mountains cold, with your picture falling off the wall and lights going out. Your awesome Brad , please do more and with your fiancee as well.
I love Geoff's voice acrobatics, special effects and harmonies! He constantly works hard to get even better. He is really amazing! 💖🔥 Some of the low notes didn't "need" to be there, but it still sounds awesome! 🌟
This one and the VoicePlay video that will be published in about a week are a one two punch: you think it's going to be great but it turns into a roller coaster.
Brad, George Castellucci was a master of his voice and the song too. George's bass was out of this world. When he hits those high notes and then turn around, then go to the basement, its was sick. Thanks for reacts to him.
The one on Patreon? No, he's not. I just listened to it again today and I was not prepared, I have played it three or four times now and it is bananas. Brad, your going to need a bigger pillow or more pillows because you might fall onto them.
Love your reactions ! Since you enjoy singers with great ranges you have to listen to Dimash. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE react to his song "Stranger". You will ENJOY!
Avi Kaplan has been doing this song at every live performance he has done since he started singing again after Pentatonix. It and Lean On Me are the only covers he does everything else is his own songs. House of the Rising Sun 4/15/19 ua-cam.com/video/z6zsgGTSb0Q/v-deo.html Since you seem to be within easy driving distance of Nashville you may definitely want to see Avi live on the 17th at Musician's Corner in Centennial Park with his band Noah Denney (drums) and Kaleb Thomas Jones from Streetcorner Symphony on guitar. If he does one song he has not published yet "The First Place I Go" it is pretty incredible and highly recommended. The 17th is a free concert. Then he will also be playing at the Americana Fest 22nd to 25th. Check for details.
Please nobody shoot me but there is only other artist that whenever I hear they are covering a song I am confident it will be awesome and that is Weird Al Yankovic. Geoff's covers or Weird Al's parodies both will do a song justice and make it incredible. Great reaction Brad. Was looking forward to it. Like Geoff you never disappoint us. Keep up the great work
My man BRAD!! As soon as Geoff dropped this I could NOT WAIT until you reacted to it! Love Geoff and love you. Please react to David Phelps 'Song for Sinners'!
I think it's interesting that Geoff changed one of the lines from 'sin and misery' to 'fear and misery'. Don' know what it means, but I find it interesting! :)
Hey Brad! Since you enjoy versatile bass voices so much (like everyone else) i would really recommend that you react to the covers of The Bass Gang. Acapella and bass times four! All of the guys have amazing voices, can reach into the depths of hell as well as high into the heavens - and are all still quite young, the youngest is just 19 years old! They did four covers of Billie Eilish songs so far and you cant go wrong with either of them. The guys are not as well know yet, but they absolutely deserve more attention!
This is my second time hearing this one, and I caught a bunch of other cool things I missed the first time. His high notes are very impressive. I am a tenor, and he is hitting my upper range...He can sing lower than me, and almost higher than me.....aaaaaaa....lol
Both geoff and voiceplay’s recent vids are gonna destroy people with how amazing they are. Sadly it’ll take about a week for voiceplay’s vid to come out.
I like his rendition of 16 Tons a lot. this started out a bit off (to me) Maybe it is the idea of seeming to force low notes because you can. This man has awesome range, but in the beginning of this song it just did not seem to follow the tune. Towards the middle and later part of the song - he was excellent though I think as there were more opportunities to put that subtle below the belt bass into play without seeming to put it where it was not supposed to be. And when he does that not many can do it better...
I think, everybody notes it, because it's not only low, but also, due to the use of subharmonic singing, different in timbre. Therefore, it somehow sticks out. At that point, I understood why Elliott Robinson writes that he is no fan of non modal techniques: the change of timbre sometimes sounds weird. The subharmonic Eb1 sounds richer than some of the not so low notes, which is disturbing.
Still think the Animals version is the definitive version of this song. Which if you haven't reacted to that one I recommend it. But this one was really good.
Great cover. "This is not low." Master of the obvious here. Fun reaction. I just finished the livestream from last night. I will repeat my suggestions here. First you should check out "How Far I'll Go The Distance" by Scott & Ryceejo. Also check out "Fix You" cover by Acapop Kids, you have only heard one song from them, and that was a while ago, this is my favorite by them. And I'll add Alip Ba Ta's cover of "My Heart Will Go On", can't wait to see your mind blown by this professional hobbyist.
Good morning Brad! Although I DO like to watch/listen to & truly am a fan of Geoff, however, this imo, isn't his best work. A bit too much of his head/mask voice & that he was hitting the super low notes a bit too often which came across as gimmicky to me. Don't get me wrong, I REALLY DO love to listen to him. Because of the frequency he did so in this vid detracted for me. With all that being said, he DOES have an awesome range. It sometimes boggles the mind how these super basses can go from middle earth to high cirrus clouds levels & back again with seemingly no effort. Bwahahaha "punch me in the face" as opposed to Tim looking through & trying to steal your soul in his vids like Misty Mountains & Man of Constant Sorrow. If I remember correctly, in Misty Mountains, he blinked ONLY ONCE! I would NOT want to get into a staring contest with HIM! LOL You'll have to check out Peter Barber with Bobby "Bass" Waters cover Avi Kaplan's The Summit. Avi's version is not a capella, but Peter & Bobby's is (that just made me giggle thinking of the Brady bunch. LOL) They also do a couple of Billie Eilish songs with a couple of other basses. One is super creepy. Their cover of Bury a Friend. Even Peter "reacting" to it (more of a kind of behind the scenes) got creeped out by it & he was IN it.
I only found Geoff today. First comment I made was referencing how he can sing bass and is also a fantastic tenor. Not many can sing such a range as he can.
And God said "while we are at it, let's go ahead and make him beautiful!"

Agreed. I meet so many people who claim that they can't sing and I keep telling them they just need practice and a teacher - - mostly practice.
I was waiting for you to do this
I had to grab the headphones for this !
I love the facial expressions, especially that last one!
I love your reactions of Geoff, and voice play, your a awesome singer as well, keep up the great work. I enjoyed when you reacted to geoff singing Misty mountains cold, with your picture falling off the wall and lights going out. Your awesome Brad , please do more and with your fiancee as well.

The fiancé just saw it. Now his fiancée needs to see it. 😉
This one and the VoicePlay video that will be published in about a week are a one two punch: you think it's going to be great but it turns into a roller coaster.
Geoff has a 5 octave range. The last note.....
God had his mojo firing on all 8 cylinders the day he gave Geoff that voice!
*The day he made Geoff, full stop.
*all 777 cylinders
I mean, that's God we're talking about...
with an extra can on NITROS
Love the harmonies in the snippet of you singing!
He was less ready than we were for that E1 LOL
Brad you look so done! Just like: "Well.... we're here I guess...." love ya man!

Geoff: yes
Just FYI - You do have a beautiful voice Brad! I love listening to you. ❤️
I mean..Geoff isn't any strange to high range...there's a video of him absolutely nailing a G#5 LIVE singing Grace Kelly by MIKA.

Looking like Fabio here, but with a great voice to go with the looks.
Only two words: Stranger - Dimash.

If you are interested to check out another version of this song I would recommend listening to Jeremy Renner (aka Hawkeye) singing it! 😊
I know right
I think it's interesting that Geoff changed one of the lines from 'sin and misery' to 'fear and misery'. Don' know what it means, but I find it interesting! :)

Darn you sing high! I hardly reach those notes. I think I'm an octave lower?
Nice, Very Nice Sound you've been blessed with by our GOD Almighty!!
Is no one going to talk about the E1 oogie boogie man note in the middle of the song?
No one at all?
ok
thats fine ;_;
Eb1 - even lower than in Oogie Boogie 😁
Qofy reacted to it. It was kinda funny

Same as my thoughts. Some of the really low notes didn't fit well in this song. What I really liked were the higher parts.
Sry but i am more fore Tim
