OMG Olly , todays video should have been 10 hours long , what an awesomely awesome video Olly , so many awesome tractors and toys , so many happy people too , superb , thank you Olly and crew . Love to all xx
Wish I had seen that Isuzu powered beast! Great video olly! How you managed to cut it down I don’t know! Had a great day with you Charlotte and little James! Business!!!
A friend had an FW 30, I think I started operating it for him around the same year you were born, sadly he passed away in 1998 and the tractor was sold. Thanks for bringing us along to the show!
The David Brown 1800 was built by a friend of mine, built from scratch based on the matbro concept using David brown parts. It’s one of a kind and really well executed. Somewhere near it should have been the full project picture book.
@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer it has been a work in progress for a few years, the target was to have it completed for Newby 2020 which was cancelled, had that gone ahead it would have been ready, just.
I actually learnt to drive in a Leyland 272 I was 8 years old 😅 we used to call it the rolls as in rollsroyce ! Went like shit off a shovel but couldn't stop
Really enjoyed that video, what a great looking show! I had no idea there'd been so many different tractor makers! Love the old combines, they're what I remember watching when I was a kid when we actually had farms around us. Been struggling to remember what they looked like! 80% today after watching that video, thanks Olly!
Went to a garden show at Newby a few years ago, there was also a modified car show on the same day, groups of lads standing round a BMW while its getting a serious reving!😆 Nice to see all that machinery👍
Great to see lots of old machines still working 👍 It would be great to see you at the Great Eccleston show. Call in to the Free Methodist church stand on Saturday 👍
Brilliant video yet again! Mad to walk out of the toilet to you and Mr Seels in the room ha! Can just about see the recovery truck I was waiting on in the background!
We went friday as its only nxt door, some amazing old tractors....was hoping too get back sunday too see if i could catch you & joe but other half was having none of it🤣
It was great to meet you and Joe today. The chafer sprayer and the crawler belong to a good mate of mine. Kieron is one hell of a clever bloke. He’s winched out quite a few folks around us, (luckily not me yet!)
Oooh cracking video Olly..... your knocking out some great ones lately!! Its great to see this show!! We had one similar the weekend just gone Upton Steam Rally in Cork 🇮🇪 !! The tractors come from far and wide to shoecase at it!!
Lovely to see Richards Atkinson truck, been subscribed to his channel since the start, nothing sounds as sweet as a Two twenty Cummins, although only 205hp, Great video Olly, 90% today
Some serious tractors at tractor fest Ollie it would take you a lot time doing at an acre a day to do your combineing. .we had a David Brown 900 bought it new I never liked it it was a numb thing .Good Row of John Deeres. That big Ford is a beast feeling 95% today another superb video Ollie Eddie.
Super line up of tractors, the IH 3588 snoopy is a rare beast. Someone spent a long time creating the DB 1800 artic, looks to have copied the 1200, by splitting the tractor at the back of the gearbox, adding a transfer box and another rear axle under the engine. Looks very well engineered. Think it was a 735 Massey combine at the start, only ever worked on one of those very early in my career. Haven't been to a proper show for a few years, will have to get to one soon.
Olly, did you know in 1947 David Brown brought into Aston Martin which at the time was going through some financial hardship. In recognition of the brand, Aston Martin have since labeled their cars as DB series. I was fascinated when I found out. What a legend he was.
Only 20% today, fell and broke my shoulder yesterday but hey ho. I always dreamt of driving a FW30/FW60 tractor, think they are are real beast of a machine. Another great vid thanks.
I live a stones throw from Kieran Wall, have known him for years, he started his working life for Hutchinsons of Helmsley, ( firm my father started when he returned from WW2) I had left before Kieran started, he is a very clever engineer, modifys just about every tractor/truck in their forestry business, the 6 wheel ERF has been many things to date, the Northrop isnt actually a Northrop, its what Kieran fabricated. While Kieran see's to timber harvesting and wreck recovery, his brother runs the sawmill, being their main sawyer.
Another cracking video Olly as always, that big case I think they call them a snoopy looked amazing,Would you ever consider getting an old combine to add to your collection like an old Claas Senator maybe??
Good display of tractors of my era I saw that Land Rover Massey at farmer copleys tractor run…ps check out automotive garage at the claas combine factory..

Hi loved the vid
The mf 1250 you filmed is owned by huebert housemend
Matbro built
12:20 valmet is beter and valtra is newer
Don't get the appeal of the 1200 they were awful Muir Hill 121 could out pull and out turn them
I admit being bit biased cos I worked for Robert Travis for 7years and 121s did some work lol
