What I would like to know NRG, is why do you not send instructions with the hub? Not enough research into each specific model to adapt every horn? I get it since your product range is so vast as far as vehicle specific components go, but man does it make the process harder without instructions to reference.
U should have add it to the QR kit! Took me 45m to dissemble, find the wire and assemble everything together but the horn drove me crazy for couple hours until I found this video and found something similar to use for the horn on my WRX. But apart from that , the product is perfect .
Good information in this video, thanks for making it. I do however have a couple tweaks...make the text show on the screen alittle longer so us blind-as-a-bat old fogies can read it without having to press pause. :-)

I got a Acura Rsx 2004 and been wanting to get the quick release but how would I know which wire is for the horn and what I do with it, like cut it or something else
Blong Vang test each hole in the harness. Use a small wire at a good grounding point, then go one by one on the harness, once you figure out which one is the horn, just cut behind or tap into it and ‘VOILA’ lol.
My car had a wheel in it when I bought it & the srs lights on but no horn. I did this mod & still no horn, do I reset the light to get the horn to work or would the problem be deeper? Also I haven't found the exact wire you used but if I do, do I need to put the red terminator plug in the pass side airbag before doing this? Anyone care to help
Chem istry your hub or quick release probably don't have the wires connected or have been removed. mine has the quick release steering wheel and hub but like yours no horn. the previous owner cut the wires inside the quick release and hub for some reason. He never had a horn. but it's easy enough to make new wires from scratch and plug it all in.
Ivan Caravantes That's the only thing I didn't fully check but am about to. I wired it to a switch so I could pass inspection but what was odd is how every trouble shoot I did, some even went around the wires in the wheel, still didn't work. Like connecting straight from the relay wire under the dash should have worked but didn't which made no sense to me. I also couldn't find the 4 pin connector everyones tapping into right behind the wheel. ive got a feeling that's where the problem is & can be fixed. Previous owner should not be allowed to work on cars
@@chemistry4425 that's EXACTLY my own situation right now!!! I recently bought a '97 Civic LX sedan with B18B1 swap. The interior is nearly 99% converted to the Canadian Honda Domani/Acura EL model. The (CDM) oem steering wheel is a Domani one similar to the (JDM) EK4/9 Type-R. I have checked my fuse, new relay & horn replaced and still no horn. I decided to pull the steering wheel off and the clock spring is missing. along with ALL yellow SRS harness hanging underneath. I can't find the little black 4 pin connector that has the blue/red wire for the horn. But I do see the same wire coming into the relay too. It looks like I'm going to have to hit up the junkyards to find that missing section of a sub harness that is suppose to connect into the clock spring. I just need to splice the wire needed and run it to the shoe horn bracket to the back of the steering wheel.
best video on doing this I have ever seen. perfect. I just needed to know where to look for that connection to look for the horn testing. thank you.

This doesn't explain how you don't have the horn always beeping once you connect the two
