I got one of these - it runs fine on my windows. You don't bluetooth pair them, the midi software does a search and finds the device - it doesn't know what kind of device (size of keyboard etc), so I had to do a bit of mapping. Also, the manual shows that you can use the USB bit on a USB midi keyboard to make it wireless - but I haven''t had any luck with this (sending to a PC or a synth) have you tried it? Finally the manual says if you have more than one of these they will see each other - so you can do wireless midi between two old style din->din devices - have you tried this? Cheers!
Hi, I haven't tried it with a USB midi keyboard and I only have the one device so I can't try linking them. I use it all the time for a synth that is around the other side of the room and it works great.
No, its for MIDI which controls the equipment but not audio. You need to look for an audio interface for iOS or Android (or Windows if you have a Windows tablet)
how is the hardware? is it still working a year later?
yes, sure is. I use it all the time
Did you have to connect through Bluetooth or is it actually 2.4?

I wonder if I could use the par alone connected directly to an iPad without the USB dongle.
I think you can
Can i use usb dongle only connected to pc, while using wireless ipad connection?
That should be possible, not sure you can have both at the same time.
DID you need any software ? What computer windows Mac ? What IOS ?
No addtional software needed other than the music apps you want.
another reviewer said you also need the Midi Controller for it to work.
did you use their midi controller or did you just get the adapter?
I just used what they had. I have one end connected to my synth and the receiver plugged into my PC, nothing else needed.
@@IanDixonTDL ok, thanks. and does it still work well or did you stop using it?
I still use it and it works fine
Can you leave th usb cable permanently installed? Inhate relying on batteries.
Thanks
yes you can
@@IanDixonTDL awesome...that's probably a no brainer at that price then. Thanks
