    JOHN: "HE SHOULD HAVE JUST ASKED"
    OP: NO MOVE IN THE SHADOWS !!
    op risked his wife deleting the only evidence and not being able to get everything lined up. She could have got spooked and ran with the kids. He made SMART calculated moves.
    MOVE IN THE SHADOWS !

    This episode really needed a woman’s perspective. The husband was not overreacting at all. Consulting a lawyer and trying to logistically prepare himself for various outcomes was smart. It’s what anyone in a situation like this should do.

    I think the biggest issue with not addressing her first. Is that if he did address her first, she would have time to go and delete any evidence. So I think waiting to address it, was probably the best decision in this particular case. If he had addressed it. It would give her the time to do all the cleaning, especially since they are overseas with children. The proof would be crucial in the event of a divorce and alimony.

    I don't understand why these guys keep saying, "it's wrong to snoop on a cheater/ liar. Just ask them..."
    Liars are gonna lie. He already knew she was lying when he went home and she wasn't there. That was all the proof he needed before gathering evidence.
    It's an awful feeling to confront a liar and say "I know you are lying" and them come up with a convoluted story/ excuse they want you to believe.
    These people who are lied to need the piece of mind that they aren't the crazy ones.

    • @username9999
      @username9999 8 днів тому +11

      He he confronted her, she would have destroyed the evidence and he could be stuck living with a lie. It's better for him to know the truth than to hear her side of it.

      Agreed. I agree when they say that either way the relationship is over because trust is lost so you shouldn’t snoop just for fun, but at this point he is very justified to gather as much evidence as he can before she finds out he knows

      Because they haven't been in these situations. It's easy to judge and tell people what to do and what not to do when you haven't been in their shoes.

      They explain a lot in other episodes
      It’s more so - if you don’t trust your partner enough to snoop it means the relationship is over
      Whether he found something or not - imagine he did snoop and found nothing … as in she wasn’t cheating but is always gonna be paranoid and suspicious and that will end up in resentment
      Once communication breaks down so does a relationship.. that’s pretty straight forward
      If you can’t talk to your partner and have to snoops means the communication is gone period

    • @Volatile_Angel
      @Volatile_Angel 8 днів тому +2

      Yeah I agree it’s definitely better he looked without her knowing. Best case is he’s wrong he doesn’t hurt her feelings and then he can talk to her about his insecurities. But worst case, I’d want to have all the evidence before I heard their side so I could know the truth. Plus, depending on divorce laws proof might be important to collect. And allows him to start planning the divorce without her being aware, don’t want her pulling money out of the accounts!

    How y’all talk about a guy who was married for 11 years and got cheated on, mocking him and stuff. Kinda killed some respect. Dude is hurting and being methodical about insuring he can be a father to his kids and that’s an issue? Are you saying he should just abandon them? I don’t understand. I need Sam and Sophie!!! Lmao

    I’m sorry but it’s *NOT* a big assumption to think wife isn’t using protection. If it wasn’t a common thing for people to have sex without protection, there wouldn’t be so many cases of women not knowing who their child’s father is.
    And OP mentioned that his wife has had sex with the affair partner at least 4times. Sometimes I feel like they only hear what they want and go from there lol

Less than two days to get housing together? She was a SAHM for 8 years?? This is so wild on both sides to discount the service she provided

    In the USA if one parent takes the child out of the country without the others permission it is considered kidnapping. My husband and I have been taking about getting our kids passports and have to do it in person and both parents must be present.

      In America, you can't take them out of the STATE without permission. My ex kidnapped our daughters from their elementary school on my custodial day, and I didn't see them for over a month & I HAD TO REQUEST A HEARING WITH THE JUDGE. the DA wanted to press charges, but I didn't want my ex arrested in front of our little girls and it screwed me.

    I think that he has something to hide that will come out during the divorce proceedings, he’s gone super hard straight out of the gate and jumping very fast to how he will have it 100% her fault and leave her destitute even though she may not have been ‘working’ but she has been raising their family.

  • @Volatile_Angel

    Why are they against him getting an STI panel? Even if she has only cheated with one partner (which who knows if there was an affair before this) OP said he was an f boy which means she’s not the only one he’s involved with…

    Why woukd she ruin 11 years of marriage? Simple, boredom.
    Cheaters dont need a reason to cheat. There doesnt have to be anything wrong, any unresolved mental/emotional issue ... they just do it cause they can and they want to. Which is why you NEVER get back with a cheater you cabt prevent it because theres no reason they're just terrible ppl there is no working it out or saving the relationship, its dead its gone. Let this be a lesson even in a PERFECT relationship a cheater will still cheat.
    Can a cheater change, can a cheater be trusted. Yes... but not by you, IF they change and go on to never cheat it will be with a new person. If its with you its the same pattern and patterns repeat.

    It's so messed up that he would get screwed out of the kids if they divorced in a European country even though she's the one who was cheating.
    Btw, adultery is illegal is some places. For example, while adultery is not illegal in California, it IS ILLEGAL in Virginia. In my state, VA, adultery is a class 4 misdemeanor and is grounds for divorce if things have gotten physical. Though a class 4 misdemeanor is a minor offense, it's still illegal, punishable, and can add to the punishment of the unfaithful spouse in divorce. If your spouse is cheating, check the laws in your area and gather evidence so you can get maximum justice.

    At 54:00 I thought he was gonna bring in Sam’s rule regarding cheating vs the longevity of the relationship. What is it? Something after 4 years but stronger the more years on it. There would be a chance for 11yrs but my concern is her continued behavior. Not only that but she’s aware. Worse she’s having sex 4-5times a week and still not satisfied? Sounds emotionally disregulated. Sex won’t actually fix that, only in the moment. Too many flags on the play. Divorce.
