Oh gotta add....the game at Arizona was so long I missed an opening band at a concert..... I still got to see Hammerfall and my dear friend Chuck Schuldiner and his legendary band Death. Little did I know I would never see him again as he passed from a rare brain tumor in 2001.
Prior the game at Wash, the last time we had two backs rush each for 100 in the same game was November 1978 @ Packers (where the Brewers played) it was Dorsett and Newhouse. I was at the 38-0 game at the Vet. Sadly, especially since I am from Philthy, it was the last time we won at the Vet and last time we won Philthy until MNF 2005 the Roy Will pick 6. Irvin was lost in 99 at the Vet and we got screwed in 2000 loss in OT. 3 blown ref calls killed is buy at the same time Cunningham could easily have run for a TD but did not You could never understand the HATRED I have for that man and then have too root for him??? Jason was a great ack up for us. Also 1998 was the first year without Bill Bates.
I cannot stress enough how awesome it was at the Vet that MNF game 38-0. Us Cowboys owned that building as of the 3r QT. I wore my Aikman double star jersey in honor of his return. After the game I was able to meet Kevin Smith, Larry Allen (again) Jason (again), Godrey even Flozell signed
The loss to the Cards was disgraceful. Troy never had a chance..... this year along with the others beginning in 1995 showed how stupid Jerry was not paying Step and thank God he came back 1999. Chris Warren didn't get enough carries. This was a strange year, my fiance Melissa passed away age 21 in August so I was devastated. The Cowboys, NJ DEVILS and new KISS record and tour helped me
But can they do it again ? How long has it been ? If Prescott can’t cut it this year it’s time to move on from him . There be no excuses his contract is up! Go cowboys!
Oh Jerry screwed up again after this season he didn't pay Norton after 93 and then after this season he let Randall Godfrey walk. Also another HUGE mistake was that during the off season we decided to keep Nate which was a huge mistake and we also let Ron Stone leave for NYG. Our guard's for the next 8 season is should have been Stone and Allen....this was the era when Jerry was making horrible moves. In 99 he let Godfrey walk but at least we brought back Step and brought in Rocket. We had soooo much dead cap money. We had a huge loss when Ernie Mills was lost mid-season
Jerry Jones let Chan go too soon! He was changing that offense production! Another bonehead move by jones! The first time any time a NFC east team swept the whole division winning every game 8-0 in the division. The giant came close a couple years later 7-0-1 .

He was a good Coach but Aikman Emmitt and Irvin were complaining to Jones too much.
