I have never seen such a magical moment as Queen doing Love of My Life at Rock in Rio 85…Brian sitting there playing the acoustic guitar…300 THOUSAND people, most of whom speak Portuguese…Freddie walks out, looks out at every single one of them…and they just all start singing, as he leads them like an orchestra conductor. It’s breathtaking to watch the power and magnetism Freddie has and seeing, not an arrogant look of superiority on his face, not something that thinks “look how amazing I am,” but instead you see in his eyes the true respect and pure amazement of seeing the crowd sing to him, and how much he has been able to touch the hearts of people through his music and his personality. It brings tears to my eyes to watch that performance. We love you, Freddie! We love you, Queen!! Queen Forever!
Few bands sound good live, but queen takes it to another level. No matter the song, it always evolves beautifully. Long live queen. 🎉

We need more episodes of this series like this. I don't mind listening to live versions of the songs, but a lot of the episodes in this series are just a few seconds of preamble and then it's just a recoding of a show for the remainder of the song. This was much more fascinating. I loved the one about picking songs, and this was great to hear about the creation and evolution of songs from the studio to the stage. More stuff like this please.

The only time I got to see Queen with Freddie was, The Game tour and it was unforgettable in the ocean of concerts in my life.
I love listening to Brian May, and Roger Taylor to talk about the creative process of the songs and the adaptation of some of them to be played live.
I understand that the quality of the live concerts is due to the experiences, and the creative work of the Queen members!
I love hearing the song "Love of my life" performed live with Brian May playing acoustic guitar, and Freddie Mercury singing! It's extraordinary the performance of both and the involvement of the audience!

Brian, you made me cry when you said you wake up in the middle of the night with ways to tweak this song or that. It is why Queen is my favorite band ever and I am so honored you are coming to Minnesota in October and I get to be there that second night. My first Queen concert and a bucket list item for me to fulfill with my two children at my side.

LOVE OF MY LIFE, to this day, makes me cry. One of their best love songs, hands down. The audience joins in and the Earth stands still, for that magical moment, that only Freddie could provide. Love you darling!❤
There is no other band that did or does come up to the level of QUEEN LIVE … or any other way 😂 Live will truly show the musical talent of a band. There are all sorts of things bands can do in the studio to make a song good ……but not on a stage. Queen/ GOAT
They are so perfect alive, I'm from Brazil, where they have always been welcome and always had given their best performances!!! It would be lovely to see them here once again!

Amooo Queen,conheci a banda na minha adolescência e simplesmente ouço todos os dias até hoje com 56 anos;Queen Forever.
I always considered The Miracle was one of the few songs from the album that would/could have been done live.
I Want It All was actually written in 1987 and was the first song Queen worked on in 1988 when they returned to the studio to record the Miracle album.

I love Queen live. They do a spectacular job of reworking songs to play live. I remember seeing a clip of Dave Grohl & Taylor Hawkins saying that whenever they doubted if they could do one of their songs live, they would say well if Queen could do X song live, we can do this song live.

I was born in 77 I had a sister that was 10 years older than me that had excellent music taste ( not so much anymore) 😆 jk sis but she was a huge queen fan and I remember sneaking into her room and listening to Queen and as a 6 or 7 year old blown away!

This has been the most fascinating episode yet.....I think Brian touching on The Miracle not being considered in the live environment is probably why the likes of Breakthru, Invisible Man etc haven't been performed live either.....since they knew they wouldn't be touring that album they could be more creative in the studio and I suppose the whole album is considered to be a studio creation and why we've only heard I Want It All.....same goes for much of the Innuendo album, I know they have used an orchestral version of innuendo as a band reveal opener in their rhapsody tour but would love to hear Adam sing the full song they would nail it, and also Headlong I think it would be great live.

Never understood why they never performed "Dead on time" live... I heard cover bands doing it,nothing impossible and incredibly powerful,surely more doable than stuff like "Sweet lady" which is far more difficult
