Looks like Cfly finally gets its act together to get a quad right; they took their sweet time and quite a few attempts, but this looks pretty nice.
i bought one, it really is great having 3km range with decent video transmission. (and none of that DJI "you cant fly here you cant be trusted to not fly toward Edinburgh airport" nonsense )

You can actually track the target closer for “follow me” and “orbit” especially in manual. Also, you forgot to mention that it has a new gimbal wheel sensitivity function as well as a RTH height setting. As for “Sport Mode” the gimbal locks and it turns into what you would call FPV Mode similar to what the DJI Mini 2 has. It also has a Cinematic Mode or “C. Mode” that makes the video look very smooth and well, cinematic! 😄

I've been looking at drones for 2 years, trying to find this type of video clarity, and picture clarity without the fisheye effect, this is the drone. I purchased this drone with two batteries for $350 and change in the United States, and I recommend it to anybody looking for a budget drone. I received it a week ago and I'm very pleased to see your video with updated information, thanks again. As always videos and information are awesome thanks for your time.
The one thing I think would make this better for the price is a cable connection to the phone for quick and easy flight prep.
@@SW-Video I've flown mine three times since I've received it a week ago, the drones flight seems to be flawless the video is good they fixed several things like the speed of the gimbal rotation is less jerky now, the drone is a stable as it can be even in windy conditions it's rock solid, and the video is really flawless. For a drone with two batteries for under $400 I think it's a good value, best price and it's class.
@@mikebrach5412 : Two batteries at around 30 minutes flight time covers most hobbyist video and photo flights. Thanks Mike! I like and own DJI drones but I always like to see solid competition because it pushes them to do better and keep their prices realistic.
The FIMI X8 would be a better choice.

Wow for a cheap drone the footage looks darn good. Especially over the water image looks almost dji-ish. Glad that I sold my old drone before the gimbal era came to the entry level 😁

Dang good pic quality from this unit. I always though the Bugs lineup was the better entry level unit. If this were available when I 1st started, I'd kept it just for fun. This is what the people starting out should jump on!!!
MJX Bugs and SJRC F11 are stiil the best starters, C-Fly is out of the price range, and has a slightly different feature set. It's somewhere in between Bugs and FIMI. If you've got enough money, I'd suggest buying a FIMI X8 SE 2020 instead, it's got a better camera, bigger range, and wide availability of accessories like camera lens filters. But this one is still very impressive, especially for the price tag.

That isn't bad -- Reminds me of the DJI Mavic Air with a Spark body. I'd get this for when I in those DJI restricted places but am just going to fly 50 feet up such as a real estate home.

Looks like a great price for the punch. Very nice, and more affordable. I can't believe how fast these priced drones are getting caught up with some of the big boys that were out. At least faster than I thought we would see during this pandemic and chip shortage. Cheers!

For real estate agents I always recommend the DJI MINI 2 or DJI MINI SE

Hi This is a one year reaction to CFLY2 2021 or 2022 plus version they are basically the same except the 2022 plus has a cooling fan and battery’s are interchangeable. I am nick nameing them the 90 meter drone , no matter how high I set the hight is likely to return to home (Rth signal loss) distance is over a mile, good drone for a park but I won’t use it for anything over 90 meter’s, reliable yes .

First vid I used an ANDROID SAMSUNG NOTE 8. This vid I used an IPHONE 11 PRO MAX.
Thanks for the reply Steve... Initial reviews using the iphone indicated syncing and connection problems vs using an Android Phone. Hopefully those issues are fixed.

Another acceptable alternative to DJI Drones.. Well I hope Hubsan guys will upgrade their camera..
Hubsan also has the battery issue, where they tend to just fall out of the sky, randomly.
I'm only 1/8 of the way thru this, but this drone sounds pretty sweet !!

She's pretty nice. I'm still opting for the Fimi X8 mini for $319.99 US for my 2nd camera quad, where this is $399.99 US on eBay. Just a little out of my price range.
I am new to drones and I have 2 HS drones, a 110D and a 120D and have had nothing but problems with them crashing and breaking. This one I think would be perfect with fly it out of the box.
This is surprisingly good. The gimbal is pretty much rock-solid, with no jelly effect. Too bad they wouldn't update the app to allow the camera options with the earlier models, like the first Faith and the EX4.

This is as per the title FAITH 2 (I believe the PRO is an earlier model with less features).
The video quality is lovely
So i got myself one and i realized mine has a different belly design from what I see in online videos and pictures including yours. it has an inbuilt cooling fan. Does yours also have an inbuilt fan?
A fan is a good thing. All good drones have fans to remove the heat from the transmission system.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 that's cool but one thing also is that even tho it is advertised as going over 3000m or even 5000m, I'm only able to get around 1500m and then i lose connection and she starts returning to home.
@@gilbertasamani-ayeh5009 It all depends on where you fly. When companies give flight time and range numbers it is the same as fuel mileage numbers for your family car. You’ll never achieve them unless you do the exact same flight as the company.
Silly question...do the sticks on controller return to center if you let them, or stay where you last pushed them? Awesome review, received mine today,but things look a bit peculiar. Even the drone switches off on ground in idle after two minutes or so

My drone does not rise because it says that the barometer is not healthy. Will it be a defect or do I have to do something?
Sounds like a calibration is required. Have a look at what can be calibrated on the drone.

Hi Captain drone, what high can you fly this drone, and if you lose connection to this drone . Will it fly away or return to home
Height would be shown in the specs (usually the same as your country allows). If connection is lost it returns to the location it took off from.
Has excellent video quality for 300dls really getting a pretty high quality for the buck probably going to get next.👍
Did you download the video by removing the SD card, or did you use the USB port on the top side of it. No where can I find any information about the micro SD port on the top side of the shell.
I always remove the Micro SD Card and stick it in my computer.
I'm having trouble with my gimbal on my cfly faith 2 not working All the time, can someone help me? It does fly vary well

I brought this drone after watching your review, but when there is a wind the video isn't stable, i don't know what's the problem.
The image should remain smooth even with wind. Carry the drone around in your hand and film and it should be smooth as well as long as you don't make jarring movements.
The CFLY and RCGOING stores list a 5K range while Bangood says 3K. Is Bangood selling an older rendition of the drone or is that a misprint?
Ignore the 5KM RANGE. It is incorrect.

Yes, that is true, to Sony camera sensor is very, very good. If I compare it to DJI mini3 Pro drone, then I get better, sharper video footage. And this for 3x less money as DJI. Good beginner video drone.

I do not help people choose drones for the simple reason I have no idea what you are using a drone for. If you know what you want to use a drone for then picking a drone should be very easy.
May of missed it but, What's the top speed, can you start doing topspeed runs in your videos
for that price the camera is pretty good! The video Modes could be improved but overall its good

Have not used it but it would be for taking files off the drone without remove the card (my guess) or firmware updates done manually

very nice drone for the price... you did not tell about battery life... can it can get close to 30 minutes ???
For every drone on the planet, always remove at least 5 mins from the rated flight time. So if you see 30 min flight time, in reality it is 25 mins. That last 5 mins is for the return to home.

Question on this drone, the SD card, does it go connectors up or connectors down? either way mine will not snap into the drone. ???
It only fits in one way, just like any electronic device that takes a micro SD card on the planet. If it does not go in, don't force it, as that would be the wrong way.
objects in the distance seemed ok but close ups of you Steve (even without zoom) looked a bit blurred when viewing at full screen on PC ...certainly not as crisp as other drones you have tested..maybe just youtube ...colours nice though.
I noticed that as well in some shots but in others, things looked ok even when near.... I wonder if it has a focus?
How many GB sd cards does this machine allow?
I can't recall but I believe it is 64 gigs.

Yes to tracking in slow speed and yes to landing wherever it took off from.
Hi , do the arms on the bottom click into place as my c fly seems to fly very poorly ,lots of gamble wobble and poor flight characteristics , I don’t want to force the legs back further but they seem quite loose help???many thanks
The arms only open so far (no clicking). Just look down at your drone (unfolded) and make sure it looks like the drone in this video and pretty much every other drone with foldable arms.

Could be that you’re doing something wrong or using the wrong app for the drone

Batteries still take hours to charge. Not aware of a fast charger.
You will need a wall/phone charger with an output of 2.0 a 5v it works good for me

Yes you could use it for real estate. I do find most real estate agents use the DJI MINI 2.

If shooting in 4K it should look clear. Are you looking at the video recorded on your phone or on the MICRO SD CARD?

Much as I love my drone, I think the CFLY FAITH 2 has much better features.

F11 4k is much cheaper. If you really want to upgrade get a Mavic Pro and a divorce.

2 Questions Captain, First, is there a new app update? Second, did you notice a jerking when going into a turn. I have one of these and it basically does well while going straight but jerks badly when I turn left or right. It's the reason I put it on the shelf and haven't flown it since. I got the update with the camera settings but this looks more stable so I think perhaps they updated it again. I'll take mine out tomorrow to see if it flies any better. Cheers!
To be honest, I pulled the drone out of the box, charged up the batteries, used the app off the APPLE STORE and went flying. When I turned/panned everything was smooth. I did not notice any jerking.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 , So I downloaded the latest update this evening. It was getting dark so I only took it out for about 15 minutes. When I said that my drone jerks I discovered tonight that it was the gimbal and not the connection to the drone. There is a gimbal calibration but not a way to adjust the speed of the 3 axis gimbal. The drone itself turns smoothly but the gimbal tends to snap momentarily right after you start a turn. It is however much better but please tell your connection at C-Fly that they should create a gimbal speed control like the DJI drones have. Another thing I noticed on your video is when you tried to start your drone with the sticks it wasn't responding on yours. Try down and out and hold for one full second. it will start then. One thing that definitely concerns me is that before the update the drone motors stayed very cool. But now they were very hot and that only after 15 minutes. The bottom of the drone was also very hot. Possibly because I was only hovering or moving in very short circles. Anyway, I'm charging up one of my 4 batteries for some testing tomorrow. The update seemed to smoothen out my drone quite a bit but it appears it's still far from a DJI equivalent. Also the low light in auto is pretty grainy but I never got around to trying the manual settings. Cheers.
This is not a bad drone at all. For the price almost better to save up a bit more and get the mini 2
