Bought the trailer body lift. Have an 2.5 lift already. Watched the "professional" video from trailer and in shops. But I do work in my driveway. Your video was exactly what I was looking for. I bought plenty of 4x4 and 2x4 already so I was glad to see in your video thats what I needed. Installing tomorrow. Thanks for the video. I have total confidence now.
I'm doing my 2010. Was a nightmare to get all the mounts off (13 Canadian winters!) I am at the jacking up point but the frame is also lifting. I have all the bolts off one side! Any ideas?
Awesome.... Thank you for the video. I am actually looking at doing this in reverse and have a few questions. Have a 2012 Oscar Mike with bald 35" tires and had a friend give me his stock Rubicon wheel and Tire take offs (33").... Dislike the gap with the 33's don't mind lowing the Jeep back for fit appearance. My question is can I reuse the bolts or will I have to locate stock bolts once I remove the spacers?... Just want to be prepared before tear down. Thank you!!!
I think that would be a good combo. The 1.25” body lift will be more of a cosmetic change. If you want better off-road performance I’d go with either a leveling kit or suspension lift. That will actually lift the suspension higher. The body lift simply lifts the body off the frame and will make more room in the wheel wells for the bigger tire. 33s aren’t much bigger then stock so they are a safe choice.
I have 2016 jku on 33’s no lift for a few years and have no problems. I also wheel my Jeep on the weekends. But this body lift might be nice because I’m going to 35”s
eliel hernandez I had no issues afterwards. The only thing that could be an issue would be if you had a manual transmission. Then you would need an extender.
I did this with an older, much older jeep and I like the look alot. Not having some of the frame showing and other parts makes me think it looks a whole lot like just a passenger car. I now have a new jeep and I want to do the same thing. I am concerned that an 1 1/4 off my floor mounted automatic shift leaver will make it pretty stumpy. Do you have an automatic and how it it now?
Hi Steve, couple of questions please, did you need to extend any wires or brake lines etc? What about the radiator and hoses did you need to relocate or modify? I've seen other brands of cars and they had complications with gearbox levers, radiator mounts etc. What it seems to be like in your video is new spacers and no other mods.

Great video glad I found you .🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍👍
Thanks for such a helpful video. I plan to lift my Wrangler body soon to accommodate larger tires. This is something I feel confident doing myself.

Leonard Frasquillo you got it! It’s really not too bad.
Looks great 👍 definitely considering doing the same to my 2008 JK.
Thanks for the video...watching this helped me realize the lift is going to help my situation 👍
Thanks for this, very helpful. Will be doing mine here in a couple weeks as soon as tires are on.
Great video. You were not kidding about getting it high enough!! I had a bolt I couldn’t get out in the rear but I got the rest on 😈🤣
Looks good, I'm doing the same thing with my 392 extreme recon, and I like the gap between the frame, easier to clean after mudding.
Nicely done 👍 !
Great Video! Thanks
An Impact drill will get the bolts to grab night and day diffrence. I had the same issue when I put my body mounted sliders on
I got 35’s on my rubicon with 2.5”-3” suspension lift I’m putting 37’s on it an I wanna do 1.25” body lift
Can you add a suspension lift with that as well ?
Outstanding
Great video man. Thank you for sharing

Was there any issue with the transmission shifter & 4wd shifter I didn’t hear any mentions of needing extensions or anything
That would only be an issue if you had a manual transmission. Automatic is on a cable and won’t be affected
Hi , I m try to put on my JKu specers 1.5” I hope will be the same
Regards

I’m pretty sure you’ll need to get stock bolts. You could probably find them on quadratec or extreme terrain.
Looks great
Are the spacer pucks metal/alloy or composite?
They are Polyurethane
@@steveschillero2013 Thanks! :)
Hmmm, I'm new to this and curious to know... do you think a jk Sahara 2 door could handle a 1.25" lift and 33's?

Any wrong with power steering shaft of gas nozzle

Steve Schillero yeah its manual, thanks

The shifter on the automatic JK is on a cable so it didn’t affect it at all. It’s the exact same. It would only be an issue on a manual.

I did not need to modify anything. The only issue would be if you have a manual. Then you’d need an extender for the shifter.
@@steveschillero2013 so the radiator lifted up with the body??
@@targetoz5470 either that or the lines for it had enough play.
what size are them tires
33s. I ended up switching to 35s shortly after.
@@steveschillero2013 A good reference is $1000.00 an inch. LOL
