I think the Doomsayer prophecy was based on the sages seeing the third invasion being so bad, and believing that we'd finally lose to them. Magni was king when he did the ceremony, so when he woke up he was diamond (as was the physical crown) and he abdicated the throne - thus officially giving up the IF crown to be the speaker of Azeroth. Suramar's dome dropped, thus the sun shone on the city for the first time in 10,000 years. And of course Varian died during the Broken Shore assault and Anduin inherited. They just didn't scry far enough to see that Illidan would rejoin us and have the literal key to our victory (sargerite key), and thus allow us to go to Argus to take the fight directly to the heart of the Legion. At the most, they saw up until the battle with Gul'dan, and believed that illidan's body would have been possessed and used against us.
I love these more edited videos on a single subject, helps tie up a lot of the disconnected story bits that have been sprinkled around for these characters over the many years.
This is great! I have a friend who literally got into wow yesterday. This would be a great and tidy way for him to understand that world more. I am not sending him your big speculation videos yet, since you go so in depth i think he would get lost. Maybe also include some world concepts as «character» as well? Like Azeroth, the titans or the cosmology map. Would help the new people alot. But that might not be the point of this series. Anyways, keep on truckin´:D
