@FullyFocused 11 Agree but IMO, for a pet the most important thing is a veterinary check - if the dog has flaws that will lead to physical issues in the future, RUN (vet bills can be crippling). Double check with the vet the breeder says they use - some people claim they had vet check but didn't (not tricky to fake certificates) and any breeder not concerned enough about a pup's health to get them vet checked is unlikely to be concerned about you (your money is a different story). Any decent breeder will be happy you did the check because it proves you are a conscientious owner and their pups are far more likely to be well taken care of by someone who does their homework. If the breeder gets offended .... RUN!

Glad I came across this vid. I was actually planning on breeding my bully but she has a high rear and east to west. Ppl always come up to me when I walk her and get my number so that I can tell them when I breed her. I’m definitely not a breeder and know nothing of what the bully community wants. I got her from my uncle who is a breeder. But keeping in mind what you said and the passion behind it , I won’t be breeding her.
I respect you for your decision. There is nothing wrong with having a dog with these faults as a pet💪🏽💯

I give you much respect for caring about the dog and breed and not using the dog for a quick pay day.
I always thought I would breed my Baby and I didn’t get her spayed and she got cancer at 4 as I started bringing her to the vet to start her medication for breeding they found breast cancer and told me not to give her the medication it would have exasperated the cancer she lasted 3-1/2 years after her diagnosis. She had a false pregnancy that ruined her body from being a show dog and her plan was to be bred but it never worked out she was the best dog I have ever had hands down and I want another.

See this is exactly what I needed.. thanks man, I’m in search of a pup for pet only and in bully groups everyone always thinks they have show dogs and look down on you because you don’t want to pay over 1k for a pet dog.. and no matter how many times you tell them you’re not showing your dog or breeding they’re like you’re an idiot good luck finding a bully for under 1k. Ruip85 all facts! Every single pup they give a show quality price and even I can tell they aren’t show quality and I’m not even in the breeding game. Luckily I found a reasonable guy and paid $500 for my “pet quality” bully. She’s beautiful and a great addition to the family. Good luck on your search man!

Just Had a dude holding a cute lilac bully pup outside my Dr's office talking bout he selling his bully pups for $15k-$30k per pup!!! 🤯 he claimed that's the norm! And how his stud (papa dog) is worth $500k because it's some dizzy devil blood bully?? I was mind boggled and said no way in hell a dog is that much.. he stuck to it.. even after I showed him the $1k+ ones on Craigslist.. he said they don't have that good blood or whatever. I still call bs. Guess I know who I WONT be adopting a family pet from!

Wow.... again New owner of a "Bully Xl" and this video right here....... VERY INFORMATIVE! I kinda think I got... Got! However I am pleased with my pup. I probably paid too much + according to your standards, he might be a pet class... He doesn't strike me to be as wide/big headed as I would've expected. He kinda reminds me of a AmStaff.

Straight up. I clicked the vid thinking I was gonna see the difference between some of these pittys and why suck a huge price range? Like If u have two bad ass PitBulls then ur gonna have bad ass puppies. So I get the cheapest one but still have the same bloodline as the most expensive one. Or u by lying bout the parents n the cheaper ones don't have the same parents as the expensive ones

Very good info and he’s just scratching the surface, the movement on these dogs has risen and the standard has either been ignored or over looked because of w.e reason, at the end of day dogs feel pain, fatigue, and should be number one ☝️ thought process in anyones head…think about them first before your own big head, expecially pockets! If you see pockets are first it can tell you a lot….

I have a “pet quality” pocket bully that is just amazing. He’s a easty/westy not high in the rear. Outside of that he’s an amazing dog wit a great pedigree. We got him for $1k , We got him to be a family member and couldn’t be happier wit him

How do you feel about micro bullies with stubby tails? I have a pretty female micro with great lineage. Both parents tails are normal but hers is short. I paid $5,500 for her. Would you ever breed her for show quality dogs? Ive been torn if I should keep her as a pet or breed her someday.

I tried buying a puppy for my family. These Breeders are ridiculous. Would not call me back, arrogant about their prices when they did. I ended up buying a "Hood" puppy for $500 bucks. Your videos are awesome! Thank you for being informative and honest.
Got a Craigslist bully that's almost 3 now and he's 86.5lbs . Daddy was 110lbs . Came from a litter of 10 and wasn't this biggest in the litter when I seen the pups at 7weeks . . Momma was around 60lbs after 7weeks of feeding pups . Gave $300 for my boy without papers . Dude wanted $2800 for him with papers. I don't have plans to breed because now with the way bully's have shot up in price . I can't find a decent looking female for around the same price
What's good fam. Greatly appreciate all these gems you giving us man...and for free. Priceless info right here. So in your opinion: Is 2k too much for a pet quality pup? Obviously many breeders only post a standard price for their pups assuming its show quality. So if you know you're specifically looking for pet, is it bad taste to negotiate?
I think 🤔 that as time goes on and the culture changes we may see a shift where breeders offer pet Quality at a pet price. I can not speak for others. Our Pet Quality Pups yo for $1,000. We feel that’s a fair price for a dog that is not intact. To answer your question. If you are willing to pay $2,000 for Pet Quality pup then that would be a fair price.
It would be good when you talked that you got some dogs out and playing or talking more around the dogs
So I have a pocket and the only flaw I’ve notice on her is a high rear. That’s about it no under bite no easty westy feet and a nice muzzle. I want to know if I get a correct pocket would that high rear end up going away on the first litter ? Or at least some of the puppy’s would have high rear and some wouldn’t ? I like your content and I wanna breed right way. If you can reply and answer these two questions I’ll appreciate that cuz

Just starting out with standard pits. I have a 11 week old, white male and a steel gray, chunky, 8 wk old, blue nose female. I went to 2 separate breeders. I hope to breed them at least once. How early can you determine if a puppy will be the show puppy of the litter? I understand that you need them to age a little bit to make sure the show stricture is good
That can be.a loaded question. Here’s why. Pups are picked at 10-12 Weeks usually. Regardless the pups age the best that we can do is account for as many factors in order to make an asserted educated guess. There are plenty of bloodlines that have different growth rates. Also there are certain flaws that will appear later on and others that appear early and may be gone by the time the pup is a year to adult. This is why doing your homework is so important. Knowing how a particular blood grows is essential to picking a pup. Your question is asking for an exact or range and the fact is no one can give you that. Only time, knowledge and experience will make you better at looking at all the factors and making a better educated guess. These are the facts. I recently made a video on a pup I kept that I had to demote to Pet Quality. She showed the flaws early on by I wanted to see how the flaw developed. If it improves or gets worse or stays the same. This is knowledge for me as I study the blood and growth patterns. With all that being said. There are obvious considerations such as pedigree, pup evident flaws or lack there of.
Is this an exact science? It is not.

question, I've been Interested in going into breeding either bullies or doberman (european) my 2 favorite breeds, yet anytime I've reached out to reputable breeders... breeding rights make it almost impossible to get dogs to start my program. The contracts seem to make it unlawful to want to start my own program.

If you marked one off your dogs as show quality, then as they grew faults developed what would you do?
This is why QBN Dog Reassessment tool is so important. I have seen pups go from show to breed and vice veras.
Seems like at the end of the day, unless you're an expert, if you're not buying from a reputable breeder, you're probably going to end up getting ripped off. It's a shame this guy only breeds XL's, they're too big for me. I want a Show Quality classic Bully.

This is a good video. It makes sense but then it doesn’t make sense. So next time you have a litter show us visual aids so we know exactly what are you talking about like a kick till You explained it. Also with a dog with a over or under by once again you explained it. So just so of photos or videos of all the things that you were talking about in top-quality dogs breeding quality and pet quality
Prices are way out of line. I just want a protective four legged friend but damn, my last pup seemed healthy until year five then kidney cancer took him from us after $1000s in vet bills. Its been 7yrs since that horrible final vet visit and we are just starting to look for a quality breeder, but them prices though....its hard to quantify and in the back of my mind I wonder, will I get another 5yrs or less with him this time.
