Great Great video! I have been using my Manfrotto tripod for nearly 7 years now and I got mine used from photographer friend that has used it for 15 years himself! They are worth the cost for a solid one! In the time I've had this one I've gone through several crappy ones! This manfrotto I have has survived multiple 20-30 ft drops and getting ran over by a semi-truck!

I use a geared head, it's very precise movements, slower to use, definitely try before you buy. On the big Robus tripod, can you give us a link to the head you are using? I always feel confused when I start looking at those!
