The fact Clara and March go so well together feels being handed your very first Recceses Peanut butter cup or an Oreo with extra Cream and a glass of milk or hot cocoa no matter what you do you'll feel warm tingly and happy inside and as your enjoying the goodness you'll feel "light as air aka "invincible" while your on you happy place high. If that makes any sense.
If you have E2 March, you generally want your tank in the first slot. If all characters are at 100% HP, the shield gets applied to whoever is in that slot, so you'd want it to be Clara or fire MC (in most cases).
Just would like to confirm that E2 March's shield at the beginning does not grant increased enmity. You can check this on the character status screen during battle and compare it with a shield from March's skill.
@@louierivera330 ideally you'd wanna place them in this order : clara, march, natasha and seele that's because the order of your teammates affects who will be hit when you're dealing with an enemy that does splash damage ( i.e when the character beside the character being hit also takes damage ) so you'd wanna keep your tankiest character on the first slot because preservation characters have a higher base chance to be hit and your dps or most fragile character to the other end following this I suppose you can keep either clara or March in the first slot depending on who's tankier but i don't have clara myself so i cant try 😂 hope this helps :))
March 7th is so OP in simulation world. Choosing “Remembrance path” boosts her freeze ability because there is a ability common card that has a crit guarantee when enemy is frozen. Meaning if you got the ability card that has a crit guarantee this make your ally dmg always deal crit dmg in 1st turn. You can get it easily it’s only a 1star ability card in Remembrance path. This is Tanky but also deals a lot of dmg in aoe attacks.
@@PhuNguyen-my9un she can put the shield on herself tho and with gepard lightcone she'll be taking most hits + she can provide freezing. If I build her pure defense i doubt she would go down easily especially with her 3 turn shields
@@kaiuventures i have gepard's light cone and i actually use both m7 and fire mc. i put gepard lights cone on fire mc and use m7 skills on fire mc to aggro everything to fire mc.
Probably my favourite part about this game so far is I can find a video about virtually every unit that says either "This unit is absolutely amazing" or, at least, "This unit is great and almost everyone is underrating them". Saw a video about Qingque the other day saying that and it just felt great to know that if people are willing to put the time in, any unit really can work and be a star of your team.
yeah which is one of the things that make HSR much funner than genshin. you arent forced to whale for an actually good team since even the standard free 4 stars are actually genuinely good. also they dont completely nerf characters just bc theyre a 4 star which is amazing.

March will also be one of the featured 4 stars on the Jing Yuan banner, along with Tingyun and Sushang, so I'd highly recommend saving up for this banner. All of those characters are very good and have excellent Eidolons!
Jing yuang is also being followed up by silverwolf and luocha (supposedly, its a leak but seems right, apparently silverwolf is before luocha) I dont know the 4 stars but id be vigilant here becuase i honestly may save and just pull 4 stars on jing yuan, because silverwolf is going to have such an incredible kit for team building. I would say if you are happy with your current damage dealers, consider saving for her because she is able to force your teams element onto enemies, making any mono element teams not only viable but extremely strong. Im currently considering a Clara/Sushang/Natasha/Silverwolf team which will be able to force physical damage type onto a boss or minions and deal massive damage breaks, while beneffiting from silver wolfs massive defense breaks (she can get upto -72% DEF REDUCTION consistently for 3 turns on an element, not including weapons) So if you have the characters to maybe do a mono build that you would like, i would consider saving for her over jing yuang, unless you really want him for his masisve damage potential. I personally already have clara for 1 team and bronya (lost seele 😢) so i can effectively build some strong teams with my 4 stars, and dont really need jing yuang, and being able to build a mono team i feel is going to be a very future proof plan for the future of the game. I would say lastly that if you havent pulled at all for seele and you know you want jing yuan, go for him and you might be able to save enough to get silverwolf or luocha aswell depending on what you want
Best would be to pull at very last after knowing the next banner, it can help you not regret things in case that next banner also has good characters. Although this banner is safe because all characters are good, the more you play the game the more this advice becomes better.
I enjoy taking her with Fireblazer and Qingque. The skillpoint generation you get from March and Fireblazer makes Qingque's damage hilarious, getting to throw out Hidden Hand more often than not. The instant I see a boss with quantum weakness, this is absolutely my build.

I like the Clara M7 combo a lot but it feels weird to freeze enemies when Clara wants to be attacked. But at least you can just choose to save ult for downtime between Clara ults.
Yeah, and although Gepard's lightcone is the best statwise, it also increases the chances of the wearer getting attacked so not the best when pairing with Clara either. Honestly I think it's fine to just accept that nothing will ever be perfect. It's not like March 7th was made with just Clara in mind, and the more niche a support is, the less versatile they'll be in different teams so it's a bit of a tradeoff.
As a Clara main I leverage the freeze that March does to recuperate some skill points or use that time to heal/buff. I run my Clara with Tian so it's a very skill points heavy and sometimes I ran out of points in a dire situation so I use marches ult so my entire team can basic attack that turn to regain points and start over

I have her and fire MC in nearly all my teams. mostly because I just like playing the MC whether it is best option or not. her ultimate also cycles really fast which leads to more freezing. I was initially running her with the ice dmg relic set until I realised her shields are based on def stat so switched her to that set. I already had a blue set maxed from early on so she is in that until I max out a 2nd purple set, fire mc has main set. I often don't run Natasha with her unless it might be a boss fight and I am unsure how that will go just for heals. Loving the game so far, much more so than I did with genshin which I quit ages ago, I think it is the turn based combat that makes it better, and the story.
I love pairing March with Arlan. My current team I use for most content is Arlan, March, Pela, and Bronya. Pretty high damage output from Arlan and thanks to how beefy March's shield is Arlan can pretty much use his skill with reckless abandon
She's a fantastic teammate for Gerard. He's extremely underrated. Open the fight with throwing March's shield on him. This will draw all the hits, allowing his ultimate to regenerate to a point where he will have full uptime. This means he's the only tank in the game that does his job without using skill points, and skill point economy is one of the biggest strategies in the game. This also allows you to build March with a focus on attack, since you're only using your shield to draw threat to Gerard. Also, his shields coubt for her counters. So she will always be using the full 2 counters each turn. They work insanely well together and more people should be talking about it.
Congrats on hitting 160k. I'm so torn on building more characters at this point. But I'll definitely consider along with a few more other characters. As usual, supports are very crucial at any stage of the game so I make sure to level up the supports I really like.
I find that as the game progresses you have time to lvl any character you want up to the cap. 10/15 of my characters are at lvl 50 until I can get to trailblazer 40.

In Simulation World 3, if you go with Path of Perseverance she's quite Broken on the shield part. All you need is to apply the shield to Clara or MC and watch Gepard kill himself because u deal dmg every time someone attacks you while shielded.

I actually like the M7 and Fire MC combo bc not only you get Marchs shield, but Fire MCs shields (and Gepards now that I think about it) can proc follow ups from the whole team which is really cool for free ice weakness reducing/breaking and dmg. Small but hey free dmg. E4 March even better
9:51 I would add that this is probably very good if you play march with yanqing since he doesn't want to get hit at all. Enemies will pretty much only hit march everytime unless it's a big aoe attack
Effect hit Chance does not increase the chance of activating stuff. It decreases the chance of enemy resisting the effect. Still important on march because the higher an enemies level, the higher their effect resist stat.
I would love to see a video like this for someone like Pela, I pulled her eidolon 4 while pulling for Seele, but am not sure what to build, or what teams to use her in
I have her E5 and honestly I am both expecting and hoping that her E6 will make her way more viable, as right now she's even outclassed by E0 Natasha. The side with Natasha survives a good amount better, and even though March has slightly better weakness break coverage and can freeze, her damage and shield strength doesn't compete with Natasha's healing. This is for MOC where you want to try to avoid using more than one healer/shielder, that said combining her with Gepard, Pyro MC or Fu Xuan when she drops will make her far better, even worth building somewhat for damage instead.
I do have the Gepard Light Cone, but it does work very counteractive if you are NOT planning on using March 7 as a Main Tank, since this cone will pull aggro towards HER and you're shield that you for example try to set up on Clara will also Taunt, resulting in sometimes they might hit March 7 instead of Clara, so she gets less counterattacks. Using March as a main tank, the Gepard cone will be BIS, its aggro taunt + shield taunt makes it so you are most likely getting attacked on her.
I use Landaus Choise and spam the shield on March and its pretty much a sure way you know what the enemy is going to focus almost every time, my other charecters get hit id say 10% of the time and I just heal them with Bailu, its a free win in end game unless your underleveled, simulated universe with preservation is basically free
I just started out and M7 is my favorite character so far. I was initially annoyed that she was a tank but then I pulled Clara on the beginner warp and now those two never leave my team :D
I actually prefer using March over Gepard. Most of the time, I only use Gepard when I'm under leveled for a battle. It might be due to my experience in playing games like Warframe, but I highly prefer utilities over large shields. Plus, if you have Fire Trailblazer, most of the time you don't really need Gepard's large shields. Trailblazer can keep a small shield up, add in a constant recovery like Bailu, and the only way your characters will die is if you mess up a rotation. That or some of the overpower DPS debuffs that enemies apply (God I hate that fire monster that inflicts constant burn). Anyways, going back to March 7th. I can't stress how much her cleanse saved me. Like, I went in to the Svarog and Kafka fights blind, not knowing that they have a way to make your character uncontrollable. And March's cleanse saved me.
Bc her shield is based on her defense and her counter attack and ult scale with her attack and her frome need accuracy so she is usable in most of the content but she is just around ok
Texture of Memories is actually a really solid option for March, since she get’s an auto shield every two turns, if she get‘s hit, which means she can concentrate on supplying shields on her teammembers, without taking much dmg herself, especially if the enemy is prone to shredding the shields. My March does give pretty strong shields, but especially after just upping the balance level or simulated universe her auto shield saved my bacon so many times and she tanked bosses like Cocolia or Kafka for like the complete last life bar, even if she is the last man standing… I admit, I have not been Relic farming yet, since I‘m waiting for tb level 65, so I can get more gold relics for the fuel, but I would still not dismiss the Lightcone so easily.
I love how strong the f2p characters are. Aside from Herta - who's primary redeeming feature is 'Ice AoE DPS' - all the free characters are pretty cracked and don't slouch under the shadow of our current 5-star offerings. And because of damage types being important for breaks, pretty much every character can bring *some* value right now. So even if you wanna simp for one of the less-effective characters, it'll still probably work out!
Lol, let's be real. The starting characters are alright, but defo not "cracked" or on par with 5-stars. My team consists of March, Dan, Serval and Trailblazer, so I would know lmao.
@@KoffinKat Definitely didn't say they are on par with 5-stars. I said they're strong. 5-stars are obviously better, except maybe Himeko, but they're not *necessary* to progress. And since the only difficult content atm is MoC... well, you're not missing much if you don't have a super powerful endgame team already.
The moment I started playing the game and got March, I know immediately that she is extremely OP with the utility she brings. I dont understand why some people would rate her so lowly cuz she doesnt do much damage. Thats the payoff for having such good utility in a team comp. March 7th Supremacy!
She can grant herself or allies a shield and can remove one debuff if her tree is upgraded, as well a gurantee freeze when breaking an enemy. Giving her dmg would make her almost as broken as seele. And another thing is that she's a sup tank, their job is not to deal dmg but to help the team sustain in the battle. It's like saying Bronya does no dmg so she sucks. TL;DR, March is op for a free character
I got Gepard and put him with March and was able to one try world 4, 5 and 6 with Rememberance (world 4 and 5), and Conservation (world 6) paths. Shields are op af

I don't know how you can say this girl can work on any team. I am currently running a glass-cannon team. I have also used Natasha once in this game, and the fire MC twice for some bosses, but mostly I have been able to just kill everything with one team with the DPS change. I'm also AR38 right now almost 39. My team is Bronya, Welt, Ting, and depending on what the enemy is weak to Serval or Yanging. Mostly Serval though. I have made my speed to where Ting goes first and Bronya goes last. Ting buffs either Welt or the other two. Welt does his slow down skill, Serval/Yanging does a normal attack, and then Bronya gives Serval/Yanging a turn so they can use their skill. I used all skills once from everyone and mostly the enemies are broke at this point. Then I just kill them. So in hard fights, I'll replace Ting with fire MC for survivability, but with March, I can't see her replacing anyone. it would slow down my team. I don't know if this game was meant for this, but I don't heal and I don't tank. I do get hit every now and then, so I just heal up at a teleport and it's been going fine still. Lastly, I'm in Simulated world 6 still no heals. But that place is RNG on the buffs you get. Edit: You said she can work with any character, but then later say she can fit in most teams, which kinda sounds like two different things at the same time.

Would a March 7 with a lot of eidolons be better than a E0 Gepard? I like march a lot better but everyone’s telling me I’d be crazy to not use Gepard because he is op and I need him for SU so I got him to lvl 50 and stopped using March. Now I feel like I betrayed March but I don’t wanna get stuck in SU.
Gepard is OP, one of strongest characters in the game, he's kinda required to clear memory of chaos. March 7 is kinda useless unless you run her with Clara. They aren't comparable.
Crush now crush later Her character really is awesome I have really fell in love with this game. Now one of my favorite characters is silver Wolf. Asta is another one that I like a lot scientific yet bad ass.

Yeahh I obliterated kafka on world 5 with m7 and yanqing. Perma freezing enemy is kinda satisfying. Too bad it didn't work on world 6 though

You normally freeze when you need the reduce threat or after they attack for a lil extra damage
Yeah, until another targeted Taunt Shield/DR unit comes out that doesn't freeze, Clara's team will still be lacking that 'perfect team' feeling.

This also allows you to build March with a focus on attack, since you're only using your shield to draw threat to Gerard. Also, his shields coubt for her counters. So she will always be using the full 2 counters each turn.
They work insanely well together and more people should be talking about it.

Congrats on hitting 160k. I'm so torn on building more characters at this point. But I'll definitely consider along with a few more other characters. As usual, supports are very crucial at any stage of the game so I make sure to level up the supports I really like.
I find that as the game progresses you have time to lvl any character you want up to the cap. 10/15 of my characters are at lvl 50 until I can get to trailblazer 40.
@@spidermonkey304 but that's the thing, you're supposed to be a step ahead i believe so that once you get to TL/TR 40, you can quickly get your main team up and ready. at least that's my perspective. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

In Simulation World 3, if you go with Path of Perseverance she's quite Broken on the shield part. All you need is to apply the shield to Clara or MC and watch Gepard kill himself because u deal dmg every time someone attacks you while shielded.

I actually like the M7 and Fire MC combo bc not only you get Marchs shield, but Fire MCs shields (and Gepards now that I think about it) can proc follow ups from the whole team which is really cool for free ice weakness reducing/breaking and dmg. Small but hey free dmg. E4 March even better

I would add that this is probably very good if you play march with yanqing since he doesn't want to get hit at all. Enemies will pretty much only hit march everytime unless it's a big aoe attack

Effect hit Chance does not increase the chance of activating stuff. It decreases the chance of enemy resisting the effect. Still important on march because the higher an enemies level, the higher their effect resist stat.

Freezing enemies is definitely an endgame must.
I have her E5 and honestly I am both expecting and hoping that her E6 will make her way more viable, as right now she's even outclassed by E0 Natasha. The side with Natasha survives a good amount better, and even though March has slightly better weakness break coverage and can freeze, her damage and shield strength doesn't compete with Natasha's healing. This is for MOC where you want to try to avoid using more than one healer/shielder, that said combining her with Gepard, Pyro MC or Fu Xuan when she drops will make her far better, even worth building somewhat for damage instead.

I do have the Gepard Light Cone, but it does work very counteractive if you are NOT planning on using March 7 as a Main Tank, since this cone will pull aggro towards HER and you're shield that you for example try to set up on Clara will also Taunt, resulting in sometimes they might hit March 7 instead of Clara, so she gets less counterattacks. Using March as a main tank, the Gepard cone will be BIS, its aggro taunt + shield taunt makes it so you are most likely getting attacked on her.

I use Landaus Choise and spam the shield on March and its pretty much a sure way you know what the enemy is going to focus almost every time, my other charecters get hit id say 10% of the time and I just heal them with Bailu, its a free win in end game unless your underleveled, simulated universe with preservation is basically free
I just started out and M7 is my favorite character so far. I was initially annoyed that she was a tank but then I pulled Clara on the beginner warp and now those two never leave my team :D
I actually prefer using March over Gepard. Most of the time, I only use Gepard when I'm under leveled for a battle. It might be due to my experience in playing games like Warframe, but I highly prefer utilities over large shields. Plus, if you have Fire Trailblazer, most of the time you don't really need Gepard's large shields. Trailblazer can keep a small shield up, add in a constant recovery like Bailu, and the only way your characters will die is if you mess up a rotation. That or some of the overpower DPS debuffs that enemies apply (God I hate that fire monster that inflicts constant burn). Anyways, going back to March 7th. I can't stress how much her cleanse saved me. Like, I went in to the Svarog and Kafka fights blind, not knowing that they have a way to make your character uncontrollable. And March's cleanse saved me.
Using her on Landau's Choice and being the tank on Simulated Universe using a combined buffs from Remembrance and Preservation. Real fun.

Bc her shield is based on her defense and her counter attack and ult scale with her attack and her frome need accuracy so she is usable in most of the content but she is just around ok
Texture of Memories is actually a really solid option for March, since she get’s an auto shield every two turns, if she get‘s hit, which means she can concentrate on supplying shields on her teammembers, without taking much dmg herself, especially if the enemy is prone to shredding the shields. My March does give pretty strong shields, but especially after just upping the balance level or simulated universe her auto shield saved my bacon so many times and she tanked bosses like Cocolia or Kafka for like the complete last life bar, even if she is the last man standing…
I admit, I have not been Relic farming yet, since I‘m waiting for tb level 65, so I can get more gold relics for the fuel, but I would still not dismiss the Lightcone so easily.
Soon she will hopefully get her 5 star version... 🤩

March 7th is my favorite character in honkai star rail I love her
I love how strong the f2p characters are. Aside from Herta - who's primary redeeming feature is 'Ice AoE DPS' - all the free characters are pretty cracked and don't slouch under the shadow of our current 5-star offerings.
And because of damage types being important for breaks, pretty much every character can bring *some* value right now. So even if you wanna simp for one of the less-effective characters, it'll still probably work out!
Lol, let's be real. The starting characters are alright, but defo not "cracked" or on par with 5-stars. My team consists of March, Dan, Serval and Trailblazer, so I would know lmao.

I said they're strong. 5-stars are obviously better, except maybe Himeko, but they're not *necessary* to progress.
And since the only difficult content atm is MoC... well, you're not missing much if you don't have a super powerful endgame team already.
My only 5 star is Clara and the combo is so strong. Especially early game before you get Natasha and FMC.

With We Are Wildfire I turned 7 my party healer againts normal mobs ^.^ Loved geting it early in game.

The moment I started playing the game and got March, I know immediately that she is extremely OP with the utility she brings. I dont understand why some people would rate her so lowly cuz she doesnt do much damage. Thats the payoff for having such good utility in a team comp. March 7th Supremacy!
She can grant herself or allies a shield and can remove one debuff if her tree is upgraded, as well a gurantee freeze when breaking an enemy. Giving her dmg would make her almost as broken as seele. And another thing is that she's a sup tank, their job is not to deal dmg but to help the team sustain in the battle. It's like saying Bronya does no dmg so she sucks.
TL;DR, March is op for a free character
The further u go, the more enemies with aoe attack. So single target shield is less useful for the end game. At least that's my experience at TL 40+
Using M7 most likely as taunt for Clara and some times safemode shielder when Natasha ult not ready.
But with March 7th, she can basically give aggro to one unit (Clara). That is a very good thing to have.

I switched her off for Hook and then eventually Herta after I realised I had a Perservation Trailblazer and a Natasha
I got Gepard and put him with March and was able to one try world 4, 5 and 6 with Rememberance (world 4 and 5), and Conservation (world 6) paths.

I don't know how you can say this girl can work on any team. I am currently running a glass-cannon team. I have also used Natasha once in this game, and the fire MC twice for some bosses, but mostly I have been able to just kill everything with one team with the DPS change. I'm also AR38 right now almost 39.
My team is Bronya, Welt, Ting, and depending on what the enemy is weak to Serval or Yanging. Mostly Serval though. I have made my speed to where Ting goes first and Bronya goes last. Ting buffs either Welt or the other two. Welt does his slow down skill, Serval/Yanging does a normal attack, and then Bronya gives Serval/Yanging a turn so they can use their skill. I used all skills once from everyone and mostly the enemies are broke at this point. Then I just kill them.
So in hard fights, I'll replace Ting with fire MC for survivability, but with March, I can't see her replacing anyone. it would slow down my team. I don't know if this game was meant for this, but I don't heal and I don't tank. I do get hit every now and then, so I just heal up at a teleport and it's been going fine still. Lastly, I'm in Simulated world 6 still no heals. But that place is RNG on the buffs you get.
Edit: You said she can work with any character, but then later say she can fit in most teams, which kinda sounds like two different things at the same time.

Would a March 7 with a lot of eidolons be better than a E0 Gepard? I like march a lot better but everyone’s telling me I’d be crazy to not use Gepard because he is op and I need him for SU so I got him to lvl 50 and stopped using March. Now I feel like I betrayed March but I don’t wanna get stuck in SU.
Gepard is OP, one of strongest characters in the game, he's kinda required to clear memory of chaos. March 7 is kinda useless unless you run her with Clara. They aren't comparable.
You will need 2 teams late game so you can use gepard in one team and march on the other

Also I hate effect rate on march because I use her with Clara. I want the Clara to be hit. I use the atk up with 120 speed. It’s really good.

Boots are the only piece of gear that can have speed as the main stat. And maxed out they give something like 25 speed.
