I just installed the Odin Ambi on my Daniel Defense AR. I love it. I set it at a 45 degree angle. It's much easier to actuate than a stock/Colt safety. I'm right handed and it's easy to manipulate on the right with your thumb, or on the left side with your index finger as you come off the trigger. Try it. Thumb to fire, index finger to put back on safe.

I like the smaller ones better, less to snag and less of a hassle. And not tear up your shooter finger like the stock I don't understand why they don't make the stock ones. Where you can flip-flop It would make it so much easier.
I know this video is old but my safety select CAN go into safety if my gun isn’t charged. If it’s on safety and I charge the rifle it will stay on safety AND FIRE. I don’t want anyone to shoot my rifle as this is a huge hazard. Has anyone else had this issue?
Seems like the paddles are backwards. What if you want the larger paddle towards you for people with short thumbs? Can the paddles be changed from one side to another?
@@chrislindmar1268 That's a good question. I definitely like them both but the Elftman speed safety is hard to beat for a lefty. When it's set to fire, the red ring is on the right side of the receiver which you can see easily as a lefty while you're training with it. Its fast and has a positive click. $35 you can't beat it

Some reviews say theyre having problems with those still being able to fire while on safety on something other than a mil spec trigger

Your safety isnt operating properly. If you arent comfortable doing it have someone who is fix it for you

Yes. That is how i have mine setup. You just switch the paddles from the side he has them to the other.

After some searching it looks like something similar to kns pins, an anti roll pin that keeps the pins from walking out.
Other than the Elftman Tactical Speed Safety, this is THE BEST safety for lefties..
