0:22 lmao Noone cares about the default cube :(( Also, it looks like the youtube algorythm is finally doing a good job - never seen your channel before and I'm glad I clicked on that video!
Umm, how and where do I get that floor texture, you said there are toutorials everywhare and there are just downloads I CANT FIND THEM PLEASE HELLLPPPPPPPP
3:34 No, colour data is already equivalent to vector data. After all, you already marked it as “non-colour”, didn’t you? What the Normal Map node is doing is converting coordinate systems. The normal-map texture is effectively in what’s known as “tangent coordinates”, where the Z-axis is perpendicular to the (smoothed) surface. This needs to be converted to global coordinates, which is what the shaders expect.
Daniel, Great tutorial and thank you for it, I just suggest to use Ctrl + Shift + T with the principled shader in the Node wrangler which will add all the maps automatically. Thank you.
I actually have never heard of sheepIT...now my laptop can do something while I am writing word documents and I can save time when I want to do a final render...thx Almost forgot... great video! Really informative and entertaining
at 3:20, you can CTRL Shift T the BSDF and select all those image files at once. Node wrangler will setup all the images into the correct inputs and even make some visual groups.
I just started playing around with blender again after 7 years. Your videos are awesome and you work so fast it’s hard to keep up haha. I don’t know if it’s possible but can you make twitch camera borders? Or pop-ups?
Daniel Krafft I hear ya. I’ve just started streaming on twitch and a lot of the streaming tools are pay to “liven up” your overlay. As well as it being something I want to make my own, blender is a great/free software to at least get started. Either way I appreciate your videos and am learning a ton thanks man :)
there are much better ways to make a thin wire into a beautiful wireframe. Try Convert Mesh to Curve and turn up bevel depth, as it is really the best way to go. If you want to stay on a mesh, you can add a screw modifier with Angle=0, Steps=2, Screw=0.2, then add a decimate in planar mode, then a solidify (Thickness=0.2) and then a subdivision surface. That setup will give you much better results out of the box.
Right after the part where you finish adding textures and making your pc suffer you use alt + a to enlarge the model well in 2.8 that undo all resizes what is a valid replacement? Also what is the replacement for Shift + a to scale because that was updated. On more thing in the notes for this video you said to do something to make the color look better where am I supposed to do that I am new to blender so need help. I also dined excellent content
Hey dude, when I apply the skin modifier it only applies it to one part of the logo even though the whole thing is selected. The SVG gave me my logo as one path curve thing, so it's not like it's a different part like yours is. Any ideas? Edit: Don't worry I figured it out by separating the individual pieces from eachother into individual parts and it worked. Great tutorial as always!
hi ! got troubles with A & B letters the skin modifier don't take the triangle inside the A or the hole of B... try to separate and copy that parts.. but even if I got a layer A.001 with the supposed little triangle .. I got nothing on it.. :/ any idea ? thanks !
hey im trying this out rt now and the part where you duplicate it and scale it down... i tried it but its just increasing the the size of the logo, its not making it thicker so ya. btw hugeeee fan been following you from 3 yrs ago man. keep it up
How do you do just what you did on the left logo? 😂 I'm working on my logo but the white in reboot seems very plain, and would like to colorize it exactly the colors you just made. Blue to purple to pink. Any suggestions? Liked and subscribed.
wait what why is only the end letter of my text getting skinned? the rest just gone. the hitbox is still there, but its not visible, and only the Z (end letter) is skinned
hey, super channel & great tutos! I'm really interested in blender & typo works as its more my background, but it seem to me that this is the weakness of this so powerful soft... I've been all around YT tuts, add-on & more re-mesh etc etc .... and never been able to find a simple, clean & easy way to convert text or logo in a clean mesh... seem re-draw all the types is the only issue... This tuto is great for outlining some logos but with A or B or any cut hole letters, skin mod don't work for me as it didn't take the little cut out triangle of the A for exemple... (even all selected ,try to copy and separate this part... but not working...) do you have any good advice / links about text conversion ? or a futur tuto ;) Also is there a way to refill the face of the outline text to have clean surface..? is so frustrating to me to see all those great possibilities and power & so hard to apply it to typographies easily... thanks for your channel anyway !
Probably very unlikely but any chance you could do this or something else epic for my logo (not my UA-cam one lol)? I would love to have it edited like this!!!
