Remembering My Childhood Friend Killed in Army

Every Memorial Day, I remember my childhood friend who was killed in the Army. They said that the vehicle he was driving flipped and crushed him. Til this day, I don't remember if the casket was closed. I was in a daze. He's been gone now over 40 years. He was one of the nicest, most kind young men that I have known. I often wondered what kind of day, husband he would have been. I just try to remember his smile.
