“Infertility isn’t a punishment from things that you’ve done in your past” I needed to hear this. Thank you for sharing your story and may God continue to cover you and your family.

I needed this. I have been on the infertility journey for 5 years now. I am getting ready to start my 2nd round of IVF. My 1st cycle only yielded 1 embryo that reached blastocyst stage. Unfortunately that 1 embryo failed to implant. My go to Bible verses have been Habakkuk 2:3 and Genesis 18: 9-14

I just be worried about IVF if they alter anything with these technologies.
But this was beautiful testimony and I'm so happy for you.
I pray YAH'S will be done... that he heal our wombs and Heal our men and allow us to be fruitful and multiply as we return back to Him.

As a Fertility Support Specialist I am sooooo excited to see conversations like this being had. Jennifer hit it on the head. The isolation that a woman feels when she is experiencing challenges when trying to conceive can be devastating. And very few people are talking about it! In my practice I facilitate 1:1 as well as group support cohorts for women in an effort to mitigate the darkness of isolation. Being in community with women who "get it" is key! It is also very important to have women, especially Black women to tell their stories around IVF and IUI. Thank you for this conversation! Thank you Jennifer for being candid. ❤ *If anyone reading would like to discuss their infertility journey with a trained support practitioner I have a link in my bio.

This was a great topic and prospective on the trials and tribulations of infertility. I'm 42, been married 17 yrs and looking to be pregnant. Now that my husband and I have been to a Fertility Doctor when I was 39, found out that he had an issue with no sperm in his semen. This has not been discussed of next steps and when I address us trying, he says ok but doesn't seem to be very happy about it. My prayers are for us to be on the same page as we have to do this journey together. Ask for prayers! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I guess we also have to consider past inplications that may caused distressed to the womb, but these can all be healed through lifestyle. Western claims may be giving us the partial truth about infertility. I think more spiritually, that reincarination through the womb is the Will of the Most High. In fact saying infertity is the case of not concieving a child may be giving power to the energy, word sound is power!
