It is mid winter in Sydney in July so it’s certainly a lot colder than other months (highs of 17 but lows of 8 degrees) so if you have flexibility in your travel dates I’d aim for closer to summer if possible. Personally I really like October which is shoulder season. Warming up but also not too hot or too busy!
Hi ya I bought a Ocean Earth leash and the ankle attachment where the swivel is completely sheared off ,are people and you self ever had this happen and even the ankle collar with the swivel has completely pulled out 😢thanks
Oh geez sorry to hear that Greg! I’ve o it had it happen once or twice - but older leashes and in bigger conditions. If you’ve got the receipt you might be able to get it replaced under warranty
bruh that leash is trash. It litterally disconnected me in the middle of high tide ulu for no fing reason. like completely disconnected from my foot. NEVER happenned to me with any other leash, and i'm a pretty bad surfer / swimmer so anyone who surfed ulu head high high tide can understand how scared of drowning someone that isnt good can be without any board
How do you mean it disconnected? Myself and most of my friends surf with them and we’ve had no issues between us with the COL Reliance’s or Superlites.
@@StokedForTravel sorry, i saw a link online talking about the fcs freedom and this video was there, i thought it was about the fcs freedom. Well it just unwrapped from my foot, like nothing. Never happenned in my life, and i saw it ahppens with the fcs freedom.
@@KC-ro9ro ah yes, the FCS Freedom leash certainly isn't a solid option and I've had a lot of issues whilst testing it out. Seems a lot of others have too! Highly recommend the Creatures of Leisure Reliance Pro if you're hunting for a good one!
@@StokedForTravel yeah, i mean i never really had any issue with leashes before. I think most of all are ok, my previous was dakine, no problem, and the one before was slater one, no problem and i tried many in between, even cheap brands... Never seen any of them "unwrapping" by itself thanks to their new "freedom" technology. This is just absolute garbage. Funny cuz they have the same thing with their fcs2 fins, them releasing by themselves with their new fancy system.... Maybe they should stop "innovating and pushing technology to new heights" if their "innovations" are making us losing their stuff in the water and even almost killing their customers

Hello do you know if in around the Sydney area it’s too cold to go the beaches in July?? Also is July a good time to visit?
