Well the technique you speak of to get to the Cabin up the hill in Ash Canyon was my discovery actually which made its way around the place until you got it off someone else no doubt. Im on day 50 ish atm with Misery mode almost ready to craft my Wolf skin coat after getting almost everythinbg erlse crafted...can be done.
