I love how in every game where you can chose a "One hit kill for everyone" there's always *THAT* enemy... you know that enemy that's invulnerable and you have to play defensive or do some bullshit untill you can actually hit it (in this case the Dullahan)

Yep...this difficulty is WAY easier than dmd. It only gets harder if you try to get S rank on missions. A good challenge would be to get S rank on Vergil while styling on him: then the game would be Contra/SMT 3 Featuring Dante :)
@@assassinonprozac Well...it depends. This mode is REALLY easy when you go guns blazing. But trying to SS rank on heaven or hell mode is where the difficulty comes into play. For example, SS ranking Vergil 3 takes at least three Royal Guards, which is pretty easy. But doing that with style, adds more pain. Edit: HoH is like "make your own difficulty" in a way.

I don't know... Heaven or Hell is fun to play! Especially in DMC 4 and 5. And it makes guns useful + it's closer to the cutscenes where everyone kills demons in one shot.
@@Nova-je6nq You mean Style level up exp? If so, nope. You level up style by just attacking. As long as you're in the style, you get exp by attacking. You don't have to "use" the style. A good way to get exp is through mission 18 and Cerberus boss fight.

It must be an equivalent of a tape-worm for Leviathan. Or the thing produces them or a Gigapede just happens to accidently pop up inside Leviathan's innards given how its stated Gigapedes can cross through rifts in time-space and the fact the innards of the Leviathan is said to be the "Hell Of Envy", basically a part of the netherworld.
Yeah, this difficulty actually lived up to it's name in this one, with Dullahans and the Fallen. Everything else is heaven, but those two are hell to deal with sometimes.

It's not difficult, all you have to do is Royal Guard him 3 times, but doing it more than 3 times is the fun. EXTRA: Hell and Hell (only on DMC4, DmC, DMC5) is one shot for the player, but the enemies are on Son of Sparda mode
Honestly the only trouble this mode gave me was trying to avoid the traps. Probably the acid puddles in Leviathan but definitely the spinning saw blades you have to jump over
This was straight pain as vergil.. 2 controllers and one long day/night of rage induced determination later and I got all 20 missions done. Never. Again.
Literally same, those f ing circular saw blades with the crystals on their backs are the only thing to kill me too on Hv&Hl Or the damn blades swinging in the hall holding that piece key. And the poison inside leviathan

To make the mode even more difficult, the game speeds up the enemies; making them extremely fast. Also, this type of idea reminds me of KH3, where you get to manipulate the difficulty. I kinda want something like that for DMC, so we can get HoH mixed with LDK.
In an average playthrough, The Fallens are the worst enemies you could encounter. In Heaven or Hell, those fucking Dullahans are your greatest threat because if you accidentally touch one pixel of their shield, you're dead.
TRUE! But even though Dullahans are the bane of my existence in HoH, The Fallen, Arachne, and Lust take the cake when it comes down to the worst to play against for me on DMD. There are strategies to fighting them, but that doesn't make me hate them less.
There are only two enemies who go down in more than one hit. In this case, Blood Goyles and Geryon. Then there’s the assholes named Dullahan and Cerberus.
I always forget what those guys are called but the ones with the shield if you use rebellion and jump over them and use Helm splitter down their back that's a pretty effective way to kill them Since they die in one hit in this difficulty it's instantaneous and Helm splitter recovers pretty quickly

This is extremely true! It also good to time your jump when they try to attack, or they will stick you with a sword.
