Hi Sarah, although I’m late to the party I’m really enjoying the variety that you and Roxy both bring to these stitches. I also really enjoy listening to you both, i always laugh at least once per video lol. I don’t know if you two have collaborated previously but your definitely a great team. I love the way that even though they’re the same stitches you both have fabulously different takes on them. I’m loving using threads I’ve had for forever and would never have used if you both had not given me the courage. I have a deep love for embroidery but I had given up on it due to disability from health issues. You both have shown me that I can still really enjoy this beautiful craft even though I’m not able to use tiny needles and fine threads anymore. I truly so grateful to you both and the inspiration from your dear mum. I wish I could express how it’s so much more than “Thank You” from me to you both 🤗
Wonderful sample with beautifully spaced stitches and such a wide spectrum of textures and colors. Just finished the first page of stitches and have learned so much already! Really looking forward to the second set of stitches. You and Rachel are doing a great job in teaching the various embroidery stitches! Thank you so much for your articulate descriptions on how to create what are “new to me” stitches. ✂️🌺
You sound as if you are under the weather a bit. Thank you for taking the time to show us these stitches. I adore the colorful threads, particularly on the lazy daisies ❤️.
Thank you Sarah for taking the time to show us these stitches. I think a few of them might be a bit challenging but I’m going to give them a good try. Your stitching is really beautiful and I love the colors you chose to use. Now I have to get busy and finish my first set so I can get on to these. So much fun!! Happy Stitching 🧵🪡😀
Hi Linnie- just stick with what your are comfortable with. The main ones that you should try to get the hang of are running stitch, back stitch, satin stitch, cross stitch and french knots. You can do heaps with just those ones. Once you are more comfortable, you might want to add in a few new ones. :)
Thank you Sarah. Love all the colours you use and showing that even acrylic yarn works too. I am so looking forward to working on my first page in January 💞🇨🇦💕
@@roxycreationsbysarah Oh!!! I made my title page this week. I decided to use this weeks stitches and create a title page. Oops!! Going rogue already 😂🤣

Thank you Sarah for your lessons. I have been finding them fairly easy to follow. I think I am doing fairly well for a beginner following along with you and your sister. I am pretty new to this and just starting to learn.
Fun! I've been looking forward to this video showing the next bunch of stitches for our sampler! I've almost completed my first one. I'm excited to start on my second sampler page!
Sarah I love that multicoloured thread you get. Where do you get it from do you remember? I am in the Eastern Suburbs too, do you ever have stitch times? Thank you I love your work
Hi Sarah, Love your work it’s looks great, so excited when I’m working on my samples.. 🤗Just quick question do I post photo on my Instagram and then hashtag your tags so you can see the work.. Wasn’t sure.😏
That would be great. We have just set up a Facebook group as well so if your are on FB, you can join that too. Here is the link to join- facebook.com/groups/309794597682212/
Hi Sarah , I am very slow with this but I am determined to do the stitching, only finished the first 10 .I have Macula degeneration so so my lines aren’t very straight but as you said that doesn’t matter I am just filling in the spaces how many pages do we do of the embroidery stitches I have only done one at the moment and going to start my second page is that right thank you again for helping me to do embroidery as I have always wanted to do it and I think Rachel as I watch her as well so thank you both very much love from Australia Daphne🙏🏻🙏🏻💕🇦🇺
Hi Daphane- there is no rush at all. It's supposed to be slow and relaxing. You don't have to do it in lines- Rachel stitches all over the place and I think it's charming. The idea was to do 2 pages of practice stitching. I did 4, but just as examples. Some people have even done all the stitches on 1 page. Whatever you are comfortable with. We are really happy to have you join us. Big hugs from Sydney :)

Your rows are so nice and even.
Thanks Eva- not perfect but I tried to follow the dots :)
WoW!
Thanks Linda :)
Sarah what size needle are you using? It looks longer than some I have used before. Tia, Nancy
Hi Nancy- I have a few different lengths but I am mostly using one that is just over 1.5" long. When I use my Milliner's needle it is 1.75" long
Great Sas!
Thanks Rach- loved your videos too :)

Hi can u tell me is the stitch sampler the same size as the fabric pages? Many thanks Rhonda 🎄
Yes- the stitch samplers are the same size. The book pages are double the size as I will fold them in half.
