Lying in hospital waiting to have my kidney stones blasted tomorrow and your vlog really cheered me up especially Wes singing tiptoe through the tulips made me LOL, and i had to show the nurse to explain why, keep up the good work brilliant as always....Them Noodles made me hungry 5 minutes after muck on a truck had been delivered and eaten.😂😂😂😂😂😂

Well done in that tunnel for keeping your cool, especially when other boats were coming in the opposite direction 🎉🎉. Was a bit scary when you could see how far underground you were and all the water coming down. Ducky looked so cute lit up in there and Wes and his singiing must of helped you stay calm. We will be going through this tunnel soon. I always sing There's a light at the end of the tunnel' (Starlight express) when we can see the other end :) It certainly is a very wet tunnel! Cleaning up pee and poo is certainly a big part of boating and it really becomes normal after a while. Another great vlog xxx

OMG! Stu and Emmie (Bobbing Along) did a similar tunnel recently. I'm claustrophobic so there is no way I could have done that, I would have walked ... no matter how many miles lol 😅. My late husband Terry was a caver, pot holing mainly in The Yorkshire Dales and he loved the the extreme pitch blackness. The music and atmospheric filming was brilliant, well done you two. And Rufus 🐶 was so brave, bless him 🐾🐾.

It was! Luckily this one was quite an easy one to navigate, which cant be said for all 😬
I don't know if it was the same with the canal tunnels but by the time the Navvies started digging long train tunnels they used to sink the shafts at the start then men went down them so they could work on faces not just from either end but also from the middle as well saving time.
Yes, it is the same system. The men were lowered down to dig the tunnels

You stopped for a poo stop at the junction giving the fuel boat an opportunity to go past since you where technically on a different canal.

We think it was used by the boats moored on the other side, to get to the footpath! They just park it up and go out for the day, and boat back! :)

Think we were cruising for about 5 hours that day 😊
Please don’t turn into narrowboat every day is a dramatic event.
