It was drizzling earlier in the evening, but the stadium was still packed with close to 100,000 people. Bono's reference to "silver and gold" was about the Coliseum's use in the 1932 Olympics.
this is how I remember it while I cherish my first Album of many, funny some of my daughters are older now than I was then, yet nothing really seems to have gotten any better.. shots still ring out and take life so sad we kill each other why not Peace?
