Still the best and easiest guitar lessons to pick up. I just had a few months off work and spent most of my time playing guitar to Justin's vids. My playing has genuinely improved so much and my understanding of the fret board has never been better. Thanks so much for all your effort Justin.

I gave up on this when you first released the video, couldn’t get anywhere near that four fret stretch, but absolutely nailed it coming back four years later… Stay positive folks, keep practicing, you WILL get there with a bit of perseverance 👍✌️😎

Justin, you are a great guitar player and a very good teacher. As a foreigner Unfortunenatly I can'nt always follow you in this lesson of this beautiful song. Thats a combination of the strange language, (f.i. wenn you mention the number of the strings and frets; the 2e string a the the 6e fret....) ) the speed of teaching (specially in the end in the bridge)and my level.
And also sometimes it is hard to see were you put your fingers or with strumming if it's a down or up strum. But repeating helps. I don't know if these positiv critics helps. Your public is mostly english orientated. But I want to mention it. Thanks for the tutorials!

The Thumb technique I found is used by Mccreddy in the intro to Yellow lead better. So I have been practicing it. Mike uses his thumb to play the low E string then goes into a Hendrix still B major chord starting on the D string of the 9th fret. I like using my finger for the bass note instead. The thumb feels weird. By the way Justin you taught me guitar. Love what you do. I played my first Gig two weeks ago, Took me about 7 years of practice, fingers bleeding, swelling up, not being able to bend my fingers right when I wake up. In order to get to the level I am at now. Thank you for being a part of my guitar journey. You taught me so much. And wete part of many “light bulb” moments. Lol Worth it all. Guitar saved my life. Thank you Justin!

Now I’m saving money to buy better equipment and recording equipment. Don’t know much about it all. Been focusing on learning to play. Now I’m ready for the rest. I didn’t realize I had a knack for music. I didn’t pick up a guitar Untill I was 28. Biggest regret of my life is not learning guitar when I was younger. I studied acting so I was in the arts. Just never picked up the guitar. I can’t stop thinking about it, or put it down now. :)

Love the videos, but did want to point out that the beats pulse in ternary, not binary, so counting the rhythms in this video should probably use a "1 2 3 & a..." or "1 2 3 la le..." system. Triplets, not conventional eighths and sixteenths.
