But I do prefer acoustic & smaller versions of songs in general - esp after getting spoiled by all those stunning renditions Neil sang & played alone on fangradio. What I'd LOVE to see live would be just Neil & Don McGlashan together, or Neil alone or with Nick. But the intimate shows I've seen online have been in major cities like London, Los Angeles & NYC & I'm nowhere near those cities.
This song is gorgeous the way it’s delivered here. So many of Neil’s songs only begin to show their true worth after a period of ‘bedding in’ but this one is pretty immediate, especially when stripped back like this.
