Hello there, thanks for a detailed video, can someone please tell me how can I change the lower value temperature. Its currently stuck on 7 and no matter whatever I do, it doesn't go up. I have tried to reset it millions of times and I can't manage to reset it either. The screen goes blank but comes back with the same values and time and date. This thing is a nightmare and I have just moved into this new house bit manuals are just ridiculous. Any help would be appreciated because we are just messing about with this every hour.
If i get you correctly, I presume your Thermostat is not in an untimed Frost mode but rather a timed temperature mode whose lower limit refuses to bulge?. The installer may have incorporated a temperature range limitation which may limit the upper and lower temperature that you are able to set on the Thermostat; or may have have set an override limitation to limit the number of degrees you can override the programmed temperature by or may have set rules regarding how long a temperature override will remain in place. You may not be able to perform an installer full reset but rather you may be able to perform a user full reset To perform a user full reset, press reset while holding down the PROG button as this resets events and times and any user advanced programming setting but does not reset time and date. Nevertheless, It is somewhat difficult to assess the error you are experiencing remotely. Probable glitch in system (software related) But usually when your not able to program new settings on your thermostat after resetting, It may also be as a result of altering or programming specific selected days and temperature through skipping previous set days and temp readings using the program button, you may need to override this unyielding setting or glitch by inputting or programming new fresh set of times and temperature for all days of the week and weekends progressively one step a a time rather than programming only specific days and temperatures that would not update. But in your case you may need to alter a current programmed low temperature that refuses to bulge either way from 7 degrees by pressing the ^ and down button until the required temperature is displayed but please note that your installer may have restricted both the upper and lower temperature settings and temperature override limits. In any event, this override will automatically be cancelled at the beginning of the next programmed event but also note that there is another possibility that your installer may have also restricted the duration of the override to something other than the next event. In this case the override arrow will flash to indicate a timed override is active during the next event. Appreciate the feedback. Let me know if this helps and dont forget to subscribe and share. helps channel grow. Have a great week
Thank you! The silly clock on mine keeps getting out of time and being like 45 mins fast!! I can't find the instruction booklet and couldn't remember how to change time! Reminder to self: Press the PROG and UP buttons together for 3 seconds!!!

Yes but PLEASE NOTE (Your installer will have set your unit to programme 6, 4 or 2 events per day) This will determine the number of events per day that you are able to programme. Please Note The unit must be programmed in sequence, event times cannot be set out of sequence. If you want to leave a preset time as it is, simply press PROG to move to the next setting. If you want to return the unit to RUN, press PROG and hold until the colon in the display blinks. Alternatively leave alone and the unit will automatically return to RUN after 2 minutes. Hello pal, cracking video. Quick question: If I set the frost setting higher, say 8°, does that mean the heating won't come on during the frosty nights? I'm having bother with mine coming on during the night. Thanks :)
Hi Jeff, this is a user override Thermostat mode feature. Frost protection runs the central heating system if the temperature on the Touch thermostat reaches 5 degrees to ensure the system stays above freezing but in your case it will run at or if it reaches 8 degrees. A constant temperature of between 5-30 degree centigrade can be selected if required for periods away from home and can be used to provide untimed higher temperatures as earlier highlighted e.g if a family member is sick. This feature allows the default frost/thermostat mode temperature to be set. Appreciate the feedback and glad I could be of some help. Don’t forget to subscribe and share. Helps channel grow. @@UtechUreview Hey, the actual boiler itself! I've set the times for scheduled heating but outside of these hours I think it turns on to heat up to my minimum temp. @@daniciccarello4012 it’s somewhat difficult to assess remotely what’s going on with your Boiler. Except I am missing something, I presume what your saying is that during the OFF period your Boiler fires up to reach the minimum temperature you have set once it detects a drop in your minimum temperature which is normal as that is what a thermostat does.
