      I think their stuff is fairly priced. It’s on par with a lot of similar products as far as pricing. Otte etc. snugpak makes some a decent jacket that’s a little less but all of them seem to have a scale in terms of products priced at different levels.

    Great job on the refinement!!!!! Not gluing the inner liner is a great step forward. One drawback I have on a soft shell jacket is that design issue. Thank you guys for ALWAYS thinking, and pushing development further forward. You guys ROCK!!!! Take care, stay safe and watch your 6!!!! Lol!!! Later.

    a little smaller, not everyone is a body builder lol.

    Looks good. Could do with one of these right now so hopefully they'll be available soon!
    Edited to add: this is unquestionably the best soft shell jacket that I have ever used.

    Is this the same approach in materials and membrane as in Delta Ace 3? (without taking into consideration mesh of Ace 3 )

    Is the delta eagle 3 made of thinner material than the delta eagle 2? And is the DE3 looser than the DE2, do I need a smaller number? Thank you for your response.

    • @MilanKovacik
      @MilanKovacik Рік тому

      I will answer myself: yes, the delta eagle 3 is tighter and a little looser than the delta eagle 2 in the same size.

    Breathability one PLUS !!
    but ARMIN ...
    1.-
    That adjustable drawcord; made us GRINCH here at the UNIT! ...once I (We) need to adjust and have to ( deal and giggle with it ) to avoid that " loop", getting caught in our holsters, and GEAR !!! with all due respect SIR,... It needs to be back on the Drawing design board ;) for the next Gen. maybe?
    2.-
    And the way the hood deploys, we need Faster deployment as a Fabric TAb, w/a small Velcro on end, for IR Infrared patch on to pull forward without those clip buttons, we kind of like the way it stores YES,... but NO to clip buttons ( A NO, NO ) it can be wrap with same TAB and pullout same way with tab.
    Other than that, Fantastic concept design of Fabric !!
    Thank you for the Awesome designs.
    Slow n Smooth Smooth is Fast
    Cheers

    Makes me wonder why you thought it was a good idea to glue 3 layers together in the first place ? Who thought that was a good idea to remove the air layer between fleece and membrane ?

    • @thomasarminwagner6246
      @thomasarminwagner6246 2 роки тому +4

      Well, in fact it wasn‘t us. Almost all softshells are glued 3-layers. It‘s one of these paradigms that are not questioned, until something new appears.

      @@thomasarminwagner6246 thank you for always challenging the status quo. The gear you guys produce is next level as a result, and I don’t own anything else that comes close. I think the difference is that you truly understand the technical attributes of the various fabrics and then efficiently design around what the user needs a garment to do.

    So now it will cost about 9 million euro to dress for outdoor actions. Seems fair enough right???
    It takes a days wages to buy each clothing item. A days wages for your pants, another days wages for your soft shell jacket, and another days wages for your shell layer, and so forth.
    It's clothing for f-sakes.

      Yes this brand is costly, it seems geared towards top tier military/LE personnel. For hunting and bushcraft there are less expensive alternatives, mostly in natural fibers, like boiled wool or loden, tight cotton that can be water-resistant; one can also search the used clothes marked for good buys, like Fjallraven in Europe.

      I dont know .....if you have had to stand around in the mud, in wind and rain and snow for hours and hours on end, you would be willing to spend a weeks wages on a jacket and a weeks wages on boots if you could.

      I bought quite a few of their products and it's more like a week wages for each of them for me. But it's just on a next level of any other clothes I ever wore.
      However I appreciate it a lot in everyday use and especialy when going outdoors.

    Softshell and a membrane - these two words should not be used together. Outer wind and water resistant, quick drying layer + inner brushed surface or thin fleece insulation = softshell. Anything else IMO, especially with membrane, is either a hardshell or piece of crap.

      Rebekah I read your comment a couple of times and still don't understand, what you wanted to say. I tend to understand that you call me shill/shilly. But before I would comment that, you might want to try explaining me, what you were trying to say.
