Good morning Roxy, looks like you had a fantastic time! So enjoyed your haul! Loved the video of when you was at Palmers! 😂 I see Retusa I settling in great! 😊 was that Hoya culdata sumatra? The fuzzy white /red one? I just got it too and mine has bloomed once! It's so amazing!!! So cute! I had to have it! 😊 only thing missing was suprise vist from Mr Julio 😊 Give him big kiss from Aunt Paula! 😂😂😂
Hi Paula 😊Yes that fluffy hoya flower is the Caudata; I love it! The hoyas that you sent me are doing great! Mr. Julio was in one of his moods lol. I'm certain that he will pop up next time 🐱.
I really like using neem oil as a preventive. If the infestation is small I use insecticidal soap and/or remove them with cotton balls and rubbing alcohol. I try to avoid the stronger insecticides ( for example orthene) unless it is an emergency that is spreading fast; due to the fact that I have a lot of good pollinators that I like to protect and my cat spends a lot of time in the garden. I also find that releasing lady bugs and other helpful insects helps a lot!
Awesome haul!! They had so many good things! Also your garden looks awesome with all the blooms!
Thank you! Yes it was so difficult to behave lol. Looking forward to another adventure next Spring 😉😊!

Which insecticide you use on your dendrobium ?
