I have the Hilton Honors card and received 100K points after spending 1K in 3 months!
I’m a budget traveler so I stay at the Hampton Inn properties most of the time.
I got the IHG card about three months ago and finally stayed at an IHG property last month. I stayed at the Intercontinental in Montreal and received two free cocktails and a free room upgrade. This card is totally worth it for the Platinum elite status and the anniversary award.
Nice use of the card! As always as long as cards for your spend and lifestyle, it's a great card!
The World of Hyatt is so good for me. I’ve gone to a couple of hotels & they’ve given me dining/store credits, room upgrades, free breakfast, etc… it is top tier for me & that $95 annual fee, feels like nothing when you have so much perks!

I have the IHG Select at the $49AF and the IHG Premier at the $99AF. Although I don't have WOH, I do have Explorist status. I transfer UR points to Hyatt. I just signed up for the AMEX Hilton Surpass for the Gold status and the Priority Pass.

ahh man I'm all over the place I have the WOH business and the bonvoy business and I love them both and I just paid the AF for the bonvoy within the last month. That card was instrumental in getting me to titanium status. One thing I don't have is a hilton card but they are calling my name.........great video Kevin!

It’s actually pretty sweet both my wife and I have it and the willing ness to accommodate us is definitely noticeably different and the bonus points at check in are a great touch…..plus even though we don’t fly United the status match to Silver status adds even more value
The WOH card is so nice but I have yet to get it 🙃 I think it'll try snag it up once im done with Marriott cards
The hotel card that makes the most sense for me is the World of Hyatt card, although, I haven't had a big reason to add it yet since they haven't increased the bonus in so long. I'd like to see that change soon so I can stop worrying so much about my 5/24 status though! Great video all around Kevin!

@@KevinYang I'll probably jump into Hilton's cards soon enough. I've debated the Hilton Business card as well as the IHG business card with their elevated SUBs but haven't pulled the trigger
I agree on the World of Hyatt card. For me that card would basically be used for Hyatt and the free night and then it’s in the sock drawer. For all of the multipliers you are better off with the Chase cards since the multipliers are higher and Chase points are more flexible than Hyatt points which leaves you locked into Hyatt. Curious to get your thoughts.
@@ryanccc777 Nice! It depends... I'd definitely put any spend I'm doing at a Hyatt property on the WOH card instead with the added multipliers you get. Plus, if you're usually redeeming your Chase points with Hyatt anyways, a few more points in your Hyatt account wouldn't hurt. For flexibility, Chase points will of course be better outside of those elevated categories on Hyatt properties that the WOH gives you.

i was thinking about getting a hotel credit card but maybe the platinum amex might make more sense.
I got the World of Hyatt and IHG Premier cards currently in my wallet. Do you think the Hilton Surpass is worth applying to instead of the Hilton Aspire right now? I don't think I would hit the $15k yearly spending for the FNC so was thinking of just going for the Aspire instead? That being said, I'm worried about the rumored changes to the Aspire. What are your thoughts?
Is that complimentary Diamond status only for the first year? Or is it every year you retain the card?
Anyone know if you can use your 10 Complimentary Priority Pass for guests? I always travel with 2 other's so it would be useful for me if we both can get in the lounge.
The Hilton Aspire is the 👑 of travel cards💪 I’ve redeemed quite a few Hilton points and always got above .8 of a cent per point.

I've found the Hyatt Card to be too limited for a lot of locations I'd like to go to (Category 1-4 only) smh
I have the Hilton Honors American Express. No annual fee. 3 points per dollar for all items. 5 points for Gas/Groceries (things we need) and 7X points per dollar on Hilton properties. This is my catchall card. There are many nice hotels under the Hilton umbrella. So we've had a lot of mini vacations and have paid nothing for lodging. Did I say No annual Fee? 🙂

Hilton certificate only applies to standard room and it is had to use at higher end Hilton hotels (can’t use certificate there)
Yeah there's an exclusion list, but there are also plenty of options that are still available! And you're right about the standard rooms. The better the value, the more flexible you would have to be in your dates!

Hey Kevin, could I get the basic Hilton honors card(no fee one) first for the current elevated sign up bonus and then get the Surpass card for that sign up plus gold status?
I would rely on the fine print, which technically does say under their discretion they can always not give the points, but don't really notice language saying you can't get it if you've had another hilton card before!

So to be clear. You need both the $95 Hilton card and the $450 Hilton card to get the 30 points per dollar ??
I’m a basic b!?$h, so I use the Wyndham business earner. The welcome bonus is like manna from heaven if you have a large family. Rooms are as low as 7,500 pts and you get 75,000 pts when you meet the spend. If you usually stay at the budget - moderate hotels anyway, you can’t beat this deal. Plus it’s a business card, so it doesn’t mess with your personal game. And you get Wyndham Diamond status that matches to Caesars, if that’s a perk you could appreciate.
I love Aspire but I’ve heard that there are some changes coming. It will ruin card for sure….

They don’t do it so ppl don’t bounce around and they get more view time. I still just scan thru the time bar anyways.
@@Rob-ew4bl if anything it benefits the youtuber. More viewers will have more watch time which = more $ for the youtuber.
Reason for more watch time is because you go directly to what you want to hear. if the viewer enjoys it then they’ll continue to listen/watch more minutes.
