Really impressive work, man! I started on violin in 6th grade and was a middling violinist. In the middle of 7th grade, I chose cello and within a couple of weeks I was well above my previous violin playing level and it just took off from there. Sometimes an instrument just "fits" you. This video also shows the tremendous amount of work you have put into practicing to improve. Congrats on finding an instrument you love and which matches you so well!
well done!! i feel the same about viola! i played violin for 9 years before picking up viola but within less than a year i was better on viola than i had ever been on violin!
3/2/2023 is part of Elgar's cello concerto so is 3/3/2024 which must of been the performance the practice was for other clips might also be the Elgar but i'm not sure (i'm a violist but my orchestra accompanied a cellist playing the Elgar cello concerto in a competition 2 years ago)
Nah, this is close to impossible. Either you are one of the biggest prodigies alive, to be playing and performing elgar cello concert after two years as an adult, or you are not being honest here.
Yes I am being honest, I had a time period where I would practice for 8 hours but now my average is 3-4. I know someone else who also played Elgar concerto after 2 years as well so it’s possible
I mean I started playing double bass in the beginning of November had to learn how to sight read and play our concert music and it hasn’t even been a year and I’m playing with chamber orchestra

This is so cool, as someone who is picking up cello as a secondary instrument this really inspires me to keep practicing.
Amazing! The cello must really be your instrument 👏 I've been playing for 3 years
this is awesome dude
Damn that's amazing! What are the names of the pieces you're playing in the videos?

Shows how easy the cello is! W for the violinists 😎😎😎
Also this is not meant to offend you or anyone else, all instruments are difficult to adapt to in their own ways.
