Most of these battery inverters lack the option to give priority to solar charging. Please check if this one is like that. Maybe a workaround is to plug it into the mains via a timer so that it has mains power at night. That way the battery would trickle charge from solar during the day and then top up at night if needed. ☮️
Agreed, the use case for 600W output is limited.
As you say, might be useful as a UPS for a fridge.

They sent me one as well. But no way to connect solar panels to the box. None of the plugs fit it..
Mine came with a solar mc4 to xt -60. The yellow ones for dc input do it.
