The only remark I have, but that’s personal taste, is the base drum that, in my perception, is a bit loud compared to the rest.
Yeah, fair criticism, I always thought that the bass needed to be dominant and I know it doesn't. One day I'll revisit a lot of these pieces and reduce or remove the loud kick drum.
@@JimNewstead Don't you dare! This sort of simple top-line melody (though lots of different tones and textures) is enhanced by a punchy bass. I think I've said before that my son is a big fan of hard dance music (Raw in particular) and he's always desperate for a big bass kick to come in. This is one of your best though I still prefer the tracks with spoken word samples.
