    Hey guys! It's officially been ONE YEAR since my big chop. To celebrate, you've watched me blow dry and straighten my hair bit.ly/1YrBigCh... ; you've watched me trim my own hair bit.ly/DIYTrimHair ; you've watched me visit my friend's salon for a beautiful shape & curl bit.ly/Type4Sal... ; and this week I'm teaching you how to maintain your bouncy silk press or straightened natural hair with pin curls. Even on an extremely tired night, this quick and easy routine will take you no more than ten minutes and will ensure that your hair maintains its shine, body and style. I show you the incorrect way to pin curl (that puts pin creases in your hair) as well as the correct way to maintain your 'do.

    Do you sleep in these pins? Do they hurt?

    • @JaneraRose
      @JaneraRose  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Dominique! 👋🏾 Thanks so much for watching.
      I do usually sleep in my pins and it's not as uncomfortable as it may seem, BUT if you have a sensitive scalp and prefer not to, I'd recommend either using bobby pins or flat duck bill clips. Hope this helps! ❤️

    How long did you leave the clips in for??

    • @JaneraRose
      @JaneraRose  5 років тому +3

      Hi, Jaidah! Thanks for watching! 🌹
      I left them in overnight - this is usually my nighttime hair routine when my hair is straightened. But if you need a quick fix, pinning your hair then wrapping it up before you shower will add a quick curl. Hope this helps! ThatGirl Jaidah

    • @JaneraRose

      Thanks for watching! ❤️ I believe that it was 24 pins and I used about 10.

    Can i use hair pins instead? I'm trying to revive my hair for tommorow

    • @JaneraRose
      @JaneraRose  5 років тому +2

      Hi Tyesha! Thanks so much for watching! You can use hair pins just be careful of the placement to avoid dents. I would insert them at the very ends of the hair. Hope this helps! 💕Tyesha Dixon
