This is very helpful! I recently started setting foam rollers every week and it still looks ridiculous after the brushout, so it's good to be reminded that it takes time and patience. Although today my mom told me my hairstyle looks "old-fashioned" so I guess I'm on the right way 😆💕🙏🏼
It’s definitely a process! But I’m glad that it’s starting to work better! Maybe you also try pin curls instead of foam rollers some time to see if the result turns out differently 🤗
That mascara trick is so clever and you do look like Betty Boop! I've never seen or heard of that trick and I find pin-curls, bantu knots, and anything that gets twirled with fingers very difficult. I don't use direct heat much but I may try this without heat and I'll definitely use your mascara trick! Looking forward to the next one! Also, if you're not too bored of hair videos, I'd be curious to see how you do vintage styles when you don't have much time. Either way, thank you for this. Your hair is lovely 💕💕💕
This was great! I loved to see your process. I wanted to tell you there is a fairly new setting lotion from lottabody. It is Lottabody with coconut oil! I love it and it smells really good. Also, you don’t have to dilute it like you do with the regular kind. 😊
This was a GOD SEND! Thank you so much for showing me your Process. I'm in the process of doing mine now! Can't wait to brush these out tomorrow! Thank you Thank you!!
Can i give you an advice? When your hair is wet, do a sleek ponytail and use regular gel or my favorite flaxseed gel, is my favorite because it doesn't leave product or odor once the hair is dry it's like you never used it to begin with. Once the hair is hard you will need to wait a couple of hours for it to dry and than you let the hair down and brush the top. Now your roots are straight as asian hair, you can proceed to do a pin curl with the end and wet them as you go. That's what I do and i have 3c hair!
I would suggest a less damaging blow dryer. You'd get even better results with a good dryer :> youd be able to do it in one step instead of a blow dry AND flat iron if you got a more modern blow dryer. Also you could use flexirods for the lin curls...flexirods even allow you not to curl tight to the scalp for curled bottoms only.. Just a tip. loving your vids
I really liked this video because I have naturally curly hair and this gave me and idea how to set my type of hair thank you 🥰
I’m glad that I could help you out ☺️

Vintage suits you; glad I stumbled on this video
Loved this tutorial, I may do the drying with curlers/rolos instead to cut some of the drying time. Thanks for publishing 💕
Thank you for making this! We needed it!
Thank you for this video. It’s very helpful. What kind of blow dryer do you use?
do i need need to straighten my hair or can I just blow it out really good?
Probably depends on your hairtype! I’m something between 3b-3c and for me it wouldn’t hold without straightening.
@@strawberrystarlette ohh yeah i have the same hair type as you !! im just a lil scared of damaging my hair 💔💔
@@strawberrystarlette but this video is amazing i love your aesthetic soo so much 💖💖
