I think gen 7 (Alola) will rank higher and higher on people’s lists as time goes on. Everything you said about them is true; the hand holding and cutscenes really suck. But the story itself is top tier imo, one of the best in the franchise. Probably why I hold gen 5 and 7 in higher regards than most people do
This is surprisingly... a really good list. I dont completely agree with the actual tier list placement of a few games but honestly, it's extremely fair.
While I won’t argue against Emerald being number 1, I have Platinum ahead of it for the lore and story. It still has the Battle Frontier, the physical special split makes team building for the Frontier much more enjoyable (imo) and I feel Platinum actually made a decent attempt at balancing the starters (compared to DP at least) while it felt Emerald just made Swampert better when it was already the best starter (Blaziken loses its Steven matchup while Sceptile’s mid-game is still sketchy at best)
Yea the other problem is the excessive amount of water play in Emerald. I want to put Emerald as number 1, but having the map dominated by water was extremely irritating. I also just finished a replay of platinum and I have to put it as number 1. Probably the most perfectly balanced game overall. Had a blast replaying it.
People have selective memory. Generation 4 vanilla games are objectively bad. The generation did not get good until platinum and the gen 2 remakes. The gen 4 remakes are not bad because of out sourcing and laziness. It’s because pearl and diamond was always bad.
Diamond and pearl was the games that made debate if I liked pokemon anymore. I eventually got over it, but always left a bad taste in my mouth when people talk about bdps. Because platinum was the good game and we knew these were being remakes of the bad ones but it is still imo better thenthe original and I would rather go boot up my copy of brilliant diamond then my gen 4 diamond.
I’ll be the one to say it- Platinum is hardly better. Like the additions they made to the story; yes, absolutely. But it HARDLY runs faster than D&P, it’s still a friggen slog. And whenever people bring up HM’s, my mind immediately goes to gen 4 as #1 worst.

@@thatboyminusLusamine being an abusive mother was some of the best writing Pokémon ever had imo. It made Lily and Gladion’s characters very compelling. She went from being my favorite villain in the franchise in Sun and Moon, to a confusing mess in Ultra Sun&Moon.

Z-moves are the worst gimmick by far but i thoroughly enjoyed sun, moon, ultra sun, and ultra moon. Also the key to beating Brock in pokemon yellow is not pikachu. Its nidoran after learning double kick.
@@theamazingspooderman2697 I became friends with my friend cade because he was playing pokemon yellow. His pikachu got above level 20 and was still losing to Brock and his onix and geodude. I told him to go back to viridian forest and look for a nidoran. I told him to level it up til it learned double kick. He caught a female nidoran. He leveled it up til it learned double kick. He challenged Brock then and won easily. We've been friends since. That was in 2010. He later fully evolved his nidoran to a nidoqueen. It was his ace for the rest of the game. The remakes of yellow let's go eevee and let's go pikachu fixed this issue by having pikachu and eevee naturally learn double kick by training.
@@theamazingspooderman2697 yes it's on the route between viridian city and the indigo plateau reception gate. But I dont know if it learns fighting type moves before level 20.

People only hated brilliant diamond and shining pearl because the chibi art style it had for it. Like really 🤨😂🤣 However there is two different things that could've made bdsp better imo. And that is Added the Platinum battle frontier into the game. Or Added mega evolution into the game. I’m still kinda new to this franchise, so thanks for making this list, it helped me decide the best games to try without needing to buy 5 different consoles. In short, all thats needed is a DS lite and a Nintendo switch to play every region at its best(XY and SM will likely get improved remakes on the switch, so no region is left unexplored for a gamer with just these two consoles)
@@geddormor5143 I’ve actually been trying to decide between a DS lite or 3DS for a while now, and considering how the 3DS recently lost access to the Nintendo eshop, it can no longer play GBA games like Pokemon FR/LG or Emerald(the DS lite however still can).

The sinnoh games are my hated generation. Alola became my new hated region until brilliant diamond and shiny pearl reminded me of my hate for that region.
After four ridiculous videos I finally found a tier list that is at the very least agreeable for me. Thanks for making this video! Overall I identify with the list, I just can't agree to how high you placed Scarlet and Violet, and I also don't think Crystal is that much better than Gold/Silver, although the thing that I can't really support is to how low you placed Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. All things considered, they are still pretty solid games, and definitely better that the new Gen9 garbage games. But regardless, I still appreciate how the middle and higher ranks in the list are pretty much reasonable and I completely agree with how good Platinum and Emerald are.
I got Violet and so far I've been feeling like it's my favorite Pokemon game. I've had the most fun with that one, especially because at a certain time they DID put out some downloadable bug fixes for both of those games which take place in the Paldea region. So I'm glad that I got that game after those bug-fixes became available to download. There's still an amount of things wrong with that game, they didn't fix all the bugs and other problems, but I didn't encounter the worst glitches that everyone else was complaining online about. I decided to skip the DLC because when I heard that there wasn't any bug fixes for that part of those games, I figured that I should save the amount of money that the DLC costs for something that would be more worth-it to pay for. I skiped BD/SP too because after I heard about how many annoying problems that those games have, I figured that they wouldn't be worth the price either.
In my opinion, this would be my tier list (not counting third versions and remakes): 10. Scarlet and Violet Despite Hydrapple and Archaludon being my favorite two Pokémon, these games are not good. Buggy as heck, and Paradox Pokémon are just reskins of older Pokémon from Gen 1-5. 9. Gold and Silver Johto is not the worst region, but has a terrible Pokedex. Some Pokémon were awful (Sunflora) and most of the good ones (Tyranitar) are locked in Kanto. Also, Team Rocket has no reason to be here. 8. Diamond and Pearl Again, good region with diversity, but not a great Pokedex. (Only 2 Fire types?) Team Galatic was underwhelming. And most Trainers use Pokémon from Gen 1-3. 7. Red and Blue (Green in Japan) Unbalanced thanks to the combined Special stat. 6. Sun and Moon I don't like most of the Pokémon here (especially Incineroar). Totem Pokémon battles aren't a good replacement of gyms. And cutscenes were a major problem. But there are some positives. Lillie, Guzma, the Professor, Gladion, and Lusamine are great characters. Battle Royales were kinda fun. 5. X and Y Mega Evolution was awesome, but the games were too easy. 4. Black and White Limited to only using Gen 5 mons (excluding events), but that's not a bad thing. Unova has some great Pokémon (Krookodile, Haxorus). The story was great, and N is a great character. The region is straightforward, though. 3. Ruby and Sapphire The Hoenn Region is very diverse, and the games have great characters (Steven, Wally). Most Pokémon are great, but there are some exceptions (Luvdisc). 2. Black 2 and White 2 The sequels to BW, and the region of Unova is expanded in both geography and Pokedex. Excellent story, great post-game, and features my favorite Mascot Legendary, Kyurem! These games would be my favorite if it wasn't for Pokestar Studios being mandatory... 1. Sword and Shield Yes, these games are linear, but the Galar Region has some very good Pokémon (Centiskorch, Duraludon). Dynamaxing was awesome. The characters are very diverse. Sure, there isn't really much to the story, but the cutscenes aren't as plentiful as in SM, and there aren't nearly as many glitches as in SV. The Gym Leaders are the possibly the toughest Trainers ever (Raihan especially), and Leon is no pushover either. Mustard is also very tough, since he owns a Legendary. Galar has some of the best Legendary Pokémon (Zacian, Regileki, Urshifu-Rapid Strike, Calyrex-Shadow). The only downfall is the Gym Badge restriction limiting the level of Pokémon you can catch in the wild. Also, these are the first ever major games to not feature all existing Pokémon, but let's be honest, not every older Pokémon was great (Unown). Max Raids were fun (let's not talk about the AI Trainers though). Wild Pokémon were interactive in the Wild Area (and not in a glitchy way like in SV). Lastly, Galar itself has some great towns to visit (Ballonlea).
I was pretty happy looking at your ranking till I saw the number 1 spot. There’s no universe in which SwSh should be at 1 but I guess opinions are opinions.
I stop at red/ blue. saying those game are bad ,then you will not like every pokemon game, because that is still the core gameplay of pokemon. I get that you started gaming when HD and 4k reso are a thing , but back then, those graphics are insane. IF the OG game were that 'bad' we wont reach gen9🤣
I have a suggestion fo a future video. Since you ranked all of the mainline Pokemon games how about you do a similar thing with the Pokemon anime. OS, AG, DP, BW, XY, SM, JN and maybe if you want Horizons.
@@thatboyminus judging from what seen from your videos id say your least favorite Pokemon series is Black & White which is a shame cause the Black & White games are so great. Really love N’s character arc in both BW 1 & BW2. Imagine if we got Ash vs N in Black & White or maybe in Pokemon Journeys. That would be friking awesome. This would be my version of Ash vs N (with my version of Ash’s pokemon from the anime) N’ team 1. Zoroark (ace) 2. Seismitoad 3. Darmanitan 4. Eelektross 5. Ferothorn 6. Sigilyph Ash’s team 1. Pikachu 2. Lucario 3. Krookodile 4. Arcanine 5. Braviary 6. Serperior (Id want the battle to end with an epic face-off between N’s Zoroark & Ash’s Lucario, this might be controversial but i wont be having Lucario Mega Evolve but i think id still be epic as hell. Zoroark & Lucario are really similar)
13 reasons why BDSP are the WORST remakes of all time: 1. Faithfulness: Unlike other remakes, BDSP literally copy/pastes 90% of diamond/pearl(2006). You cannot copy almost everything from a 2006 game.. (Remember its a remake not a remaster!). Almost everything is copied: All dialogs, the storyline, the chibi art style, the national dex, old pokemon encounters and even the Poketch were copy & pasted to this game. Pokemon games have been improved in the past years and had many quality of life changes like 3D art style, overworld Pokemon encounters and reusable TMs. None of these changes were adapted to the game which is just sad. This game is too faithful and faithful sounds more like a excuse for lazyness. 2. Not-Platinum-Based: So they copy & pasted 90% from the old Sinnoh game but not based on Platinum? Diamond & Pearl had several weaknesses and Platinum fixed many of them and included many Quality of Life changes. Here are some Platinum improvements over Diamond/Pearl: It extends the storyline with additional content, new dialogs, new characters like Charon and a new map Distortion world (loved it). The rival was a bit too weak in Diamond/Pearl which was fixed in Plat. The Poketch has a reverse Button. It has the battle frontier. And finally: the Sinnoh dex which was baaad in Dia/Pearl was fixed. The bad sinnoh dex in dia/pearl has only very few Fire Pokemon (very weird). Gym leaders were forced to use weird mons in the main game like Electric gym leader using Octillery or IceType gym leader using Medicham (WTF? Despite Sinnoh having enough Ice/Electric mons) and also many sinnoh mons were restricted to the postgame. Thats means many of the favourite sinnoh mons cannot be used in your team for the main story. But Platinum fixed this issue and created a NEW sinnoh dex which fixed all these issues which made the main story like a sinnoh game. ALL of these great changes of Platinum where NOT included in BDSP. This means BDSP uses the OLD sinnoh dex, OLD dialogs, OLD storyline, NO new character like Charon, NO distortion world and NO battle frontier. That makes BDSP a worse Sinnoh remake than Platinum which was released in 2008. (Imagine a 2008 DS game of the same Region beats you in ALL aspects. WTF) 3. EXP-Share & Friendship-System: One of the most hated features is the EXP-Share system which often leads to WAY more exp than in the past games. In my opinion, the EXP-Share is not too bad. BUT diamond/pearl were not designed to be played with the new EXP-Share system. So if you include an EXP-Share system, you have to increase all levels of the pokemon (from opponent). But they didnt which makes the difficulty of this game too easy.Basically, my whole team was too oveleveled. And the friendship-system is the worst luck-based system i ever saw. A feature that increases the Critical hit-chance,removes paralysis, lets me dodge 100% accurate moves and even lets me survive moves with 1HP. WTF did you smoke gamefreak? And the worst is that, you cannot make any of these optional. Because of that many players who love to do a nuzzlock in Sinnoh, prefer the old DS games. 4. No Innovation: This game not only copy & pastes the majority of its content, it adds nothing new to the game. Lets review some good remakes: HeartGold/SoulSilver (HG/SS) were Gen 2 remakes and included some storyline from Crystal and added many new stuff like the pokeathlon, battle frontier (from sinnoh), gen 1 map/storyline, a complete national dex and the pokewalker. HG/SS were not copy & pasted, but actually remade the game and added good new stuff. Also Alpha ruby&omega saphire (ORAS) have new changes like new art-style , new designs for Team magma/aqua, new Mega-forms, new Primal forms, changes to dialogs and storyline and the complete national dex. BDSP on the other hand does not provide any kind of major change in the game which makes this game really boring. It does have a new Underground which has overworld pokemon, but that is nothing special for 2022 and the ramanas park was neat but nothing too exciting. 5. Underground/Super-Contest: The old underground allowed to create your own living room with furnitures and set traps to troll friends online. Both were removed for a statue system which is really boring. Collecting statues and the effects of the statues are really disapointing. The Super-Contest used to be a fun-mode where you had many different options and varities and had to have good reflexes to do the correct moves at the correct time. Now all you have to do is Press A at the correct time and use 1 attack. That makes this mode so boring and disapointing. I mean, was it really that hard to let the player press like 4 different buttons instead of just 'A'?? 6. Art-Style: Many of us expected a modern review of Sinnoh in a 3D human like Art-style. But they decided to go for the Chibi-Art-Style. Everyone has different tastes but in my opinion the Chibi-Art-Style ruins many serious moments of the story line of this game, especially vs team galactic. It feels like all the emotions of the characters were removed. The reason why it was used in Diamond/Pearl was because of the limited hardware. In my opinion the Chibi-Art-Style waas the wrong decision and does not suit a switch game at all. 7. Only Gen 4: BDSP has a national dex which includes the pokemon from Gen 1-4 which is basically the same as Diamond/Pearl. As a player who would have loved to see at least some Pokemon from Gen 5-8 in Sinnoh, i am very disappointed. At least some Pokemon post Gen4, or some new forms or at least add Sylveon in this game. Not even mega-forms were included in this game. The fact that 95% of the megas are from Gen1-4 and the underground being the perfect place to grind the mega-stones, makes this decision even more disapointing. The reason why diamond/pearl was limited to Gen 1-4 was because there werent any other new pokemon. The reason why BDSP limited the game to Gen 1-4 is because of lazyness.. 8. PVP: On of the worst things in this game is everything arround PVP. The worst disrespect a main series pokemon game can get, is when GameFreak calls that all the competitive tournaments including the world championship will not take place in BDSP (WTF?). Unlike Sword/Shield, you have no option to search for PVP matches which makes it way harder to find battles. But the worst thing is the grind for a PvP team: TMs are not reusable (WHY?!). For some important TMs like Earthquake, you have to grind for 80BP (WTF. Thats a lot of Grind). Also you cannot catch pokemon with hidden abilities except those from poke radar. To get the hidden ability you have to grind for the ability patch for 200BP (WTF. Grind competitive to create a competitive. Nice system). By putting important PVP items behind such ridiculously high grind walls, it makes creating a PVP team disgusting. 9. Events: The events were also copy & pasted from Diamond/Pearl. Same Shaymin event, same Darkrai event. And other events are only accesible if you bought other main series pokemon game (Why..). And finally some garbage "events" which include some useless statues. Meanwhile, the 3 year old SW/SH getting better and innovative events like new PVP cups/tournaments and some legendary shinies. In my opinion the events in BDSP are disapointing. 10. Bugs/Glitches: Holy Moly! This game had so many bugs and glitches! You dont even need hacks, when the game itself has to many glitches. Many of them where completely broken. Many Pokemon clone glitches and item dupe glitches ruined the game. You could even get infinity money, create your own shinies (WTF), make your pokemon 6IV and let any Pokemon learn any move. I used to be in a discord for trading in BDSP and because of the glitches, the trade market was only about getting shiny 6IVs etc. Not to forget to mention the soft locks which made you restart the whole game which can happen for example in the ice gym. Usually every games has a few bugs. But this one had too many and too many game breaking glitches. A very hyped game like this shouldnt be developed by a 3rd party company.. But Gamefreak had other plans.. 11. Controls: The controls of this game feel weird and uncomfortable. Characters move in a grid which looks so weird during the storyline. The pokemon who follow me often block me in a bad way. The underground has many inivisible walls which makes moving in some rooms horrible. And finally the control with the cycle are the worst. The cycle in pokemon games are a beloved feature but in this game.. It feels so uncomfortable moving with the cycle, I sometimes even prefer walking. 12. Standards: A 2021 game should adapt the standards from the latest games (Sword 2019). The BDSP-standard isnt nearly as good as Sword/Shield. Many items, many attack moves, renewable TMs, dynamax, new pokemon, old moves without heart scales, more customization, max Raids or ranked battle stadium. None of the mentioned were adapted into this game -> BIG Downgrade for 2021 pokemon standards! 13. Price: Dia/pearl/Platinum: 40$ and Copy/Paste BDSP with Bugs:60$ -> Bruh.. Conclusion: It feels like GameFreak didnt want to do a Sinnoh remake but wanted to milk some money by releasing the highly demanded Sinnoh remake. The fact that, they hired a 3rd party company who never developed a major game, only supports this theory. Not forget to mention that, BDSP had a giant day one patch which was essential to enjoy the game. The fact that they released Legends Arceus almost 1-2 months after BDSP release also supports the theory, that they didnt care at all for this remake. Because of the release of Legends Arceus, the hiring of ILCA, the amount of glitches, the boring events, the exclusion of VGC, the 0 Innovation in this game and the fact that the majority of the game is copy & paste of a 2006 game (Dia/Pearl) which is worse than a 2008 Game (Platinum), makes this game the worst remake of all time in my opinion.
@@thatboyminus BDSP is literally the better diamond and pearl. The only difference being the vast amount of glitches, faster speed, exp share, and superior grand underground.
@@nep7939 BDSP biggest issue was the dumb friendship mechanic where at max happiness your pokemon would live through multiple super effective attacks and self cure status conditions etc.. ruining any sense of challenge. Umm. What makes bdsp worse than the original diamond and Pearl? Like honestly, we all know they are better than diamond and Pearl. There’s no arguing that they are not. There is an argument for platinum of course, and in terms of expectations and how good they were for their time, bdsp is worse, but it should just be in terms of how good they are on the base level. I guess nostalgia also plays a role which just gives people a better memory of the old games like diamond and pearl.
BDSP's placement sadly doesn't come off as a surprise for me, but it does come off as a disappointment. These games are waaaay too overhated, and you saying they have nothing redeemable about them is a blatant, biased lie. I'd personally also place Sword and Shield higher, above Red and Blue, at the very least. These games contain a lot of interesting characters, and I like the new, more grandiose take on Gym battles. I personally think that Team Star had a compelling story that many people can relate to. Not every evil team in Pokémon has to be a massive threat to the entire region. That would get repetitive of done too much. Gen 7 is very good. I agree that the cutscenes are a problem, but they're mostly a problem in the early game. The games have a charming setting and many interesting characters. I like the Let's Go games. I don't mind the capture mechanic, but even if you have a problem with it, I like how these games improved the story of Kanto, because FireRed and LeafGreen, as nostalgic as they are to me (LG being the first Pokémon game I ever played), they didn't really fix Kanto's lackluster story, while Let's Go gave its characters more dialogue and time to shine. To me, ORAS is the definite way to play Hoenn. Emerald is good, but the Battle Frontier is ultimately reserved for more experienced players, not Pokémon's target audience of young children, so the people who play it are in the loud minority. HGSS, ORAS, and B2W2 are probably my favorite games in terms of content, and FRLG are very nostalgic to me, even if the story in them isn't the best. I do find something good to say about any mainline Pokémon game, though, and I've enjoyed every Pokémon game I've played.
For me since I never played the older generations and only the switch games here is my 5 Sword and Shield 4 brilliant diamond and shining pearl 3 legends arceus 2 let go eevee (i haven’t finished let go pikachu yet) 1 scarlet and violet
I've played all of them. I recommend you to do platinum first; normally, I'd recommend emerald but the fact that you've already played Ruby/Sapphire, I personally believe Platinum is going to be a good experience for playing after a long time.
Some of my least favourite games aren't games I necessarily despise but they're also games that are held back by some major problem for me I'm not saying I LOVE BDSP but I don't hate it either. They're just whatever to me. I will at least take BDSP over regular Diamond and Pearl any day but yeah I heavily agree they should have done far more with it, like with ORAS. A more expanded plot, a new twist on the sinnoh legendaries and more platinum Pokemon and content would have made the games TONS better. The only reason I replay them is so I can play sinnoh in the modern era and that's literally it. There's no other way to cos Arceus is set in the Hisui region which even though it's technically sinnoh, still isn't the same and they didn't do a remake of platinum. Speaking of Legends Arceus, that's the next game I don't hold in as high regard as most people. Legends Arceus is beyond overhyped. It's in the mid to low C Tier for me and a big reason is the forced implementation of the Pokedex. I really don't like having to catch several Pokemon that I'm not even going to use just for the sake of progression. It's like Let's Go but set in the past and that just doesn't sit well for me. I tried filling out the Dex in Black 2 but it was a chore and besides my starter I had no real connection to anything I caught along the way. Pokemon are supposed to be creatures you train and raise to be the best they can be, not to mention bond with, not collector's items. Yeah Hisui itself is cool and I do like the story of traversing the land and quelling the noble Pokemon, but that alone is enough of a good story. We shouldn't have to catch random Pokemon and fill up a cursed Dex just to get anywhere in the game. I don't care if it is the first Pokedex, we don't need it to be forced in what's otherwise a pretty solid game. Also I don't hear people talk about this problem enough: Arceus himself. You know, the Pokemon whose name is literally in the title of the game and sends you to Hisui in the first place. Yeah screw that and how about we don't focus on him and wait til the end of the post game to make him actually relevant again? That's absolutely unacceptable for a Pokemon whose name is in the title of the game. Let's Go actually made their titular Pokemon more important. We could have encountered Arceus at various points in the story and even saved or teamed up with him during the climax, but no, they could not even give us that. I don't mind the hall of origin stuff after the main story but still, they could have brought this forward to the end of the story if they wanted to and it would have been fine. Also I hate the battle system in that game. It's more annoying cos there's more uncertainty of when you can actually attack and sometimes you might not get to do ANYTHING by the time your opponent is done And Let's Go, yeah aside from the aesthetics, it's not all that great. Too much catching to the point you have to somewhat fill out the Dex to get anywhere at certain points, but at least it's got more battling than legends Arceus does. And it doesn't have the annoying battle system Legends Arceus introduced
Nostalgia makes all the difference when it comes to lists such as this. This guy sounds like he's in his mid twenties. So he' gonna place gen 3 and 4 the highest. Now let's watch the video and see if I'm right.
never rank again bro, you basically picked the most non-controversial list to keep the nostalgic pokemon fans happy as literally the first few minutes are enough to tell that, explain in what way BDSP are inferior to DP? we get more fire types in BDSP, better Poke Radar, improved movesets, harder battles, beautiful backgrounds, no HM slave, following pokemons, clothing options, hardest Champion ever ie. Cynthia with competitive sets and items, faster battles, Grand Underground while DP lacks all of those, yet BDSP is somehow inferior? also you say the story for Red and Blue is bad even though among the first three generations, it literally has the best story, Gen 3's story is two man childs fighting for dumb reasons and that is somehow a good story to you than Red and Blue?

Ive only played 3 pokemon games fully being emerald y and omega ruby and for me my fav be emerald then omega ruby then y im currently bout play dimond since my vrother gave me it and i never managed get through pokemon moon begining bit.
Pokemon emerald is a better game than ruby and sapphire but it's far from being the best. The mediocre story and characters that the game has like your rival, gym leaders and evil team. The fact that many Pokemon from gen 3 are actually bad and their moveset sucks, there is no physical and special split which makes everything worse.
You mind expanding on this a bit?
It’s because pearl and diamond was always bad.
bro spoke facts, finally someone not drowning in nostalgia
Yeah these games made me realize how bad DP really were. But BDSP were worse because they came out in 2021
No they’re not lol the remakes are bad because they were minimal effort. Diamond and pearl are slow but not bad games get out

@@thatboyminusLusamine being an abusive mother was some of the best writing Pokémon ever had imo. It made Lily and Gladion’s characters very compelling. @@theamazingspooderman2697 I became friends with my friend cade because he was playing pokemon yellow. His pikachu got above level 20 and was still losing to Brock and his onix and geodude.
In my opinion, this would be my tier list (not counting third versions and remakes):
10. Scarlet and Violet
Despite Hydrapple and Archaludon being my favorite two Pokémon, these games are not good. Buggy as heck, and Paradox Pokémon are just reskins of older Pokémon from Gen 1-5.
9. Gold and Silver
Johto is not the worst region, but has a terrible Pokedex. Some Pokémon were awful (Sunflora) and most of the good ones (Tyranitar) are locked in Kanto. Also, Team Rocket has no reason to be here.
8. Diamond and Pearl
Again, good region with diversity, but not a great Pokedex. (Only 2 Fire types?) Team Galatic was underwhelming. And most Trainers use Pokémon from Gen 1-3.
7. Red and Blue (Green in Japan)
Unbalanced thanks to the combined Special stat.
6. Sun and Moon
I don't like most of the Pokémon here (especially Incineroar). Totem Pokémon battles aren't a good replacement of gyms. And cutscenes were a major problem. But there are some positives. Lillie, Guzma, the Professor, Gladion, and Lusamine are great characters. Battle Royales were kinda fun.
5. X and Y
Mega Evolution was awesome, but the games were too easy.
4. Black and White
Limited to only using Gen 5 mons (excluding events), but that's not a bad thing. Unova has some great Pokémon (Krookodile, Haxorus). The story was great, and N is a great character. The region is straightforward, though.
3. Ruby and Sapphire
The Hoenn Region is very diverse, and the games have great characters (Steven, Wally). Most Pokémon are great, but there are some exceptions (Luvdisc).
2. Black 2 and White 2
The sequels to BW, and the region of Unova is expanded in both geography and Pokedex. Excellent story, great post-game, and features my favorite Mascot Legendary, Kyurem! These games would be my favorite if it wasn't for Pokestar Studios being mandatory...
1. Sword and Shield
Yes, these games are linear, but the Galar Region has some very good Pokémon (Centiskorch, Duraludon).
Woah… sword and shield at 1?

13 reasons why BDSP are the WORST remakes of all time:
WTF)
The Super-Contest used to be a fun-mode where you had many different options and varities and had to have good reflexes to do
the correct moves at the correct time.
13. Price: Dia/pearl/Platinum: 40$ and Copy/Paste BDSP with Bugs:60$ -> Bruh..
Crazy how the advanced versions of diamond and pearl are almost 10 spots below the worse versions
What do u mean?
@@thatboyminus BDSP is literally the better diamond and pearl. The only difference being the vast amount of glitches, faster speed, exp share, and superior grand underground.
@@nep7939 BDSP biggest issue was the dumb friendship mechanic where at max happiness your pokemon would live through multiple super effective attacks and self cure status conditions etc.. ruining any sense of challenge. Those games are ridiculously easy, lol.
How about you play Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. They’re great.
How about you play until generation 8. They’re great.
Nemona’s theme slaps though
This isnt that bad of a list at all, actually the top 10 is great. My only gripe is gen 9 is WAY too high. That game is cookie cutter mediocrity all around.
swsh was my first pokemon game and i really enjoyed it alot. I dont understand the hate for the game. I've also played scarlet and violet but i didnt like how there was no like guideline (like for gyms and stuff like that) and i couldnt finish lets go pikachu bc it was kinda boring

True. But is that enough to earn then any higher spot?

tbh imo
I’ve never played Legends Arcues so I have no opinion on that game, however utter than that the Sinnoh remakes BDSP are alright there not horrible or forgettable something like idk Superman 64 or Mario is Missing
And there not amazing like Super Mario Bros 3 or Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
however there really not that bad as people put them out to be, I’m almost done with Brilliant Diamond and it’s alright
Ramanas park is a cool feature
and you can get the Gen 1, 2 and 3 starters in the underground world
like bulbasaur charmander squirtle cyndaquil chikorita todadile torchic and Mudkip
I mean that’s pretty cool and
ILCA did a pretty good job designing the game
I think it’s pretty nice that Nintendo gave ILCA a chance to partner up with them to create a Sinnoh remake
But asides from that, Pokemon BDSP is decent although ngl I’ll admit they should’ve put a platinum episode like how ORAS had there own special post game Delta Emerald
If Nintendo were to add a Plantium episode after beating the Elite 4 and champion With a brand new update to the Distortion World like how you said it in the video
Would give me much more to work with for BDSP, however at the end of the day these Sinnoh remakes aren’t really all that wow
It’s not something that I would go back to and play it for like the 4th or 5th time, unless the original Pokémon Sinnoh games are to expensive or if you really miss playing a Pokémon Sinnoh video game and + they are some DS emulators or roms that could bring viruses to phones, laptops or tablets.
Play legends Arceus and you’ll wish you never played BDSP.

Great video 😊😊😊
Emerald has too much Water and no day/night cycle to be considered the best. HG/SS,BW2 & Platinum are all better games..
For me since I never played the older generations and only the switch games here is my
5 Sword and Shield
4 brilliant diamond and shining pearl

@@shrawon3605 thanks bro true to that !
Some of my least favourite games aren't games I necessarily despise but they're also games that are held back by some major problem for me
I'm not saying I LOVE BDSP but I don't hate it either.
It's more annoying cos there's more uncertainty of when you can actually attack and sometimes you might not get to do ANYTHING by the time your opponent is done
And Let's Go, yeah aside from the aesthetics, it's not all that great. Too much catching to the point you have to somewhat fill out the Dex to get anywhere at certain points, but at least it's got more battling than legends Arceus does. And it doesn't have the annoying battle system Legends Arceus introduced
Well, obviously you’re going to say. Ruby and Sapphire or Diamond and Pearl when in reality it’s Gold and Silver and Red and Blue and Yellow.
How’s your vocal cords?
You forgot to mention that johto personified Japan. Pretty sure as homage and that gives it points in itself
