According to the Jackbox Games Wiki, the mother's wig allows you a free pass on an incorrect answer. If everyone but the player wearing the wig gets an answer right, everyone BUT the wig wearer gets punished. If the player finishes the game wearing the wig, they have to answer a post-game question from the murderer. If they're right, they live and win. If not, they get killed and everyone loses.
@@cinuzuka there's the mother's wig, the father's hat, the uncle's glasses, a time bomb and a knife (I don't know who the last ones belong to). Every single one of these items will get a secret ending question if you get to the end with one of them in your possession (though the glasses work a little bit differently)
The wig gives you immunity if you got a question wrong, the hat makes you go to the killing room every round, the glasses or the insanity they give will cause the possible options of each question to be messed up, the bomb gives you a limited time to answer all the questions and I've never understood the knife but is similar to the cutting fingers mechanic from the previous trivia murder party.
@Egan314 dude you’ve already comments about how dumb the rules are either pay attention to what’s happening or don’t look. For the plot of the game the rules make sense and as the other person in that other comment where you said the rules are dumb no one likes ties. The rules work for this type of game get over it
@Egan314 If a ghost catches up to the living player (which Cole did), the ghost becomes living while the living becomes a ghost and is pushed back 1 place. As for why Cole won, the living player's answers are always registered before the ghost answers. Cole and Chilled both got perfect answers; however, because Cole was the living player, his was registered first giving him the victory.
@Egan314 It's just how the game works. They even say so in the explanation, "if a ghost catches you, they steal your life force". It's meant as a way to keep the horror suspense and make it easier to judge who is in the lead since you cannot tie for first in this game. Only the alive person escapes.
Admit it, if you participated in the audience for the Trivia Murder games and the last Monster Dating game, you’ve been robbed of our win (I SWEAR WE HAD IT AAA)
"in bocca al lupo" (literally, "into the wolf's mouth"), the Italian equivalent of "break a leg". The other person must then respond "crepi il lupo!" Literally: "Let the wolf die!"

I always thought it was a sort of knock on wood thing, you want to wish them good luck but don't want to jinx it so you reverse it and say you wish them bad luck.
Lol but no it's actually considered a jinx to wish someone good luck before going on stage, so they say the worst possible thing that could happen; you break your leg.
Breaking a leg is actually wishing that you do so good that you break the mechanism that is meant for raising and lowering the curtain because they want so many encores. I believe that mechanism is called a leg
Animalia, Fungi, Plantae, Archaebacteria, Eubacteria, and Protista. Those were the kingdoms I learned in school, but protists and bacteria are still debated as to how they should be classified.
Insects are classified as animals, yes, but it's been debated about whether they should be classified differently. Still silly since they're obviously animals, but not completely unfounded.
She likely mistook it for a mammal. It took me a while to realize that they're talking about animals, not mammals, which includes insects, fish and molluscs
I love this game, as well as following along with the Trivia Murder Party questions and mini-games. Great video Chilled hopefully there can be more because man... this game is addictive with friends 😁
So, it’s currently called number/numeric dyslexia when numbers get jumbled in your head... I happen to suffer this affliction which is why I hate math. I would argue the term should be dysnumeria instead. “Lexicon” being words and “numerals” being numbers.
The root lex means word, law, or reading. In dyslexia, the root most likely refers to reading, but can be interpreted as dysfunction of reading or dysfunction of perceiving words. I like the specificity of your new term. Dyscalculia, as suggested below, is broadly interpreted to mean dysfunction in numerical computational and conceptual abilities. Not necessarily just the jumbling of numbers.
19:25 interesting triva, "break a leg" doesn't actually mean injure yourself, the side curtains of a stage are called legs, and the saying became popular among actors who were paid based on how much time they were on the stage, so "break a leg" meant getting on the stage which is why it means good luck in the theater
Fun thing about the first question is that the main reason it wasn’t nominated for an award was it was expected it to be bad so they released it in the off season but it did well enough for sequels
Until this stream as much as i love jackbox I’d only took part in the audience briefly twice with other youtubers so never got the full experience. The writing minigame is easy for me to solve. Because I focus on both the handwriting, and how fast the word is written down. You can copy the handwriting all you like, but is it the same speed it was written in?
I know Tays, "Insects aren't animals" comment was dumb, but in her defense she was probably thinking about mammals. At least I would hope that's the case or that's just sad.
I learned about the chicks because I spent one month working in a rural general and they sold chicks once a month. I got to put hold them and move them into their separate orders. they were so cute and its unfortunate that I know what happened to them
Cut her some slack. There are just times when we don't even remember every single shit we learned since high school or in college. Or even then, don't have a proper education like you did.
