@@cucabeludo9342 Bayle has numerous amounts of other stuff that makes him cooler than him The beam is literally the only cool part about midis outside from his cool rush attacks and ost, Bayle has better lore, way more cinematic, I don’t even need to mention second phase and igon
I'm not sure if anyone else does this, but because someone figured out that boss attacks are timed based on the MELODY of the song I actually found that singing with the song helps in fights
I think it's the other way around, different instruments or voices of the melody adjust based on the bosses attacks. That's how several other boss fights have worked
its crazy that when the laser sequence ends so does the crazy music phrase it seems. Almost as if that laser attack is meant for that piece of the song. So cool you managed to line it up
@@therealchecho1868Gotta disagree, Bayle has a cool design and all, but all his attacks are lame. They’re the same generic fire or lightning attacks but flashy. At least Placi and Midir have more unique attacks (like their lasers, teleporting for placi, and in Midir’s case, he does the crazy animalistic fire breath charge and soul summoning). All of them have unique designs as well for dragons. Placi having many heads and Midir being corrupted with darkness. So I wouldn’t say Bayle beats them in terms of design. In terms of gameplay? Midir. Bayle has so many bugs with his fire breath deflection, randomly getting smited by lightning during his phase transition too. It’s literally RNG for no hit runs. Placidusax is sadly too easy. Midir is perfect, not buggy like Bayle but also difficult and consistent. Atmosphere? I gotta say Placidusax, then Midir, then Bayle. Placidusax’s arena is insane with the lightning in the back and him floating there, it feels insane. Midir has the drop and the dark abyss-like arena which looks insane. Bayle’s isn’t necessarily bad, but it doesn’t compete with the other two. It’s just red and rocky with some occasional lightning.
@@WinterFlare gotta disagree, bayle is overall a better boss. He is pretty much the same as midir but his attacks don't just delete your entire healthbar,he does less damage, his camera is a bit better and his damage is fair. not to mention he is a much better looking boss than midir and his cinematics and spectacles are another level compared to midir.
I'm jealous that you were recording when this happened. I was not when something similar happened in Bloodborne, when Ludwig was flinging moonlight projectiles in perfect sync with THAT part
Placi is cool but he lacks difficulty... Like come on the nuke attack is so slow you would think it's an one shot but it's not... He also has difficulty turning around to hit you on phase 1 Sinh is a super cool fight though that everyone forgets about when it comes to fromsoft dragons
I love Darkeater Midirs fight. His music, his attacks and animations, it's all spot on. Also everytime I fought him, I was usually underleveled. One time, I speedrunned through the main game and through Ringed City, just so I can fight Darkeater Midir, and Slave Knight Gael... They're the best bosses in Dark Souls 3. And despite my weakness, I STILL managed to defeat them... Especially Midir. In fact, I didn't really use range, just melee (Minus a few miracles, but they were heals and buffs). And honestly, I think my level at the time was, level 47.
I remember seeing this on the news. Some dude was playing DS3 when suddenly his entire house was set on fire from sheer musical and visual action power. They found a skeleton with nothing but wrist muscles and hand ligaments playing the game, connected to the brain from a single nerve. The player's ability to play was preserved from sheer need to defeat Midir.
I remember losing few days killing him on SL 60. Well I resorted to using greatbow so I had to deal with less attack patterns yet his ray of death was 1 shot
I've noticed that if you managed to position yourself close to Midir's left back leg, you can avoid the worst of his laser attacks, especially that really long one he uses in his 2nd phase.
@@sublimechimp Rather more tedious, his first phase isn't that scary for ranged if you just run away and keep shooting in his head whenever he pauses his rush, evading fire from above is easy and while he is doing forward breath attack you can land another headshot on him. On the second phase the ray of death might be somewhat tricky to dodge I failed it many times when I was close to killing him. Still easier than melee I am still shit in melee dragons fight even in Elden. Now doing RL 47 run there, no summons, no ashes.
And then the video ended abruptly because the cameraman was crushed 😔gl good thing the cameraman never dies He didnt see the rest of the perfectly synced fight because he respawned at the bonfire and had to wait for the player to die to re-enter.
