If you have Lincoln that blows hot air on the driver side and cold air on passenger side or it blows cold air on driver side but hot warm air on passenger side we will explain what causes that and how to fix it. In this video we will demonstrate how our Lincoln was blowing hot air on the driver side vent and cold air on the passenger side vent due to bad blend door actuator. We explained how to get to the blend door actuator and see if they are working and if they need to be replaced. We demonstrated on Lincoln MKX but it will be the same procedure on multiple models.

Thank you for the user-friendly video. Until I can purchase the part (for passenger side), I simply unhooked the metal rod to prevent the white arm from moving. Quick fix for a hot day in Texas. 😀

I have a Lincoln aviator 2005. My vent actuator needs to be fixed, my gas gauge is starting to have issues also , is it worth the fix or should I just get another car.

That's where this guy failed. My AC is doing the same thing but I had no damper issues. All of my car's damper worked correctly. It turned out to be the FCIM.

Would the FCIM control the radio too? Mi e had this issue. I can do a hard reset (hit the power and defrost button at same time) and it usually fixes this. However my speakers do t work when it’s cold. Very strange. I have to disconnect the battery to get the speakers to reset.
