I’ve been here since season 1 shortly after global release, to see all these posters and their skins again is so weird, especially since I remember being hyped for them when they came in game. I know this is kind of just a “for fun” video, but thank you for making it.

I like the fact that the first 6 essences are just a S tier skin, a rip off of the S tier and a random other skin

I remember the first time I played this game.. I started at Season 12 Essence 1 And I was like ",This game okay ig", I also noticed that their posters kept on upgrading to less detail to most detailed This game grew up so much

I've been playing since season 2, this brings back a lot of memories to where the game had no cipher rush and it was all about the essences

Season 5 essence 3 is my favorite because Nostalgia skin for Coordinator, some people say it's ugly but i love it, the first skin i wanted to have when i started playing
I remember the skins I wanted right away the first day I joined was Black Swan and Red Shoes, I was obsessed with the ballerina themes they had, and they were from my favorite stories too, haha

I started right in the beginning of season 3. I remember playing joseph and some guy was playing with the s tier cowboy and lassoed someone from the chair and i thought the player on the chair was cheating lmao. Good times.
Man, it's crazy to think about the fact that I started playing the game before season one and ignored seasons 1-6 because I wasn't taking the game serious because of my addiction to DBD. I wish I did take it seriously. Some cool stuff came out in that timeframe.

Still crazy how madame coral is technically the first coa abyss skin, related to pirate lore for those wondering. Leo S tier Pirate skin pushed Caged Butterfly off his pirate ship and she drowned and became Madame Coral.

well, it was the rare and only time a single season only had one essence because they delayed the Bungo Stray Dogs Crossover since they messed up with the skins for Doc and Novelist (which never came for obvious reasons) and people were ticked over that. They gave out twenty free essences as compensation for the entire thing, I believe, and made painter's skin free for everyone since he was originally supposed to be in the essence
I remembered Dream Witch leaked 4th form just like yesterday, although it was years ago 😔

Question for those ppl who are playing the game since season 1: Were essences that cash grabbing like we have rn? Coz im player since half of season 20 so I dunno if gachca sytem was better, worst or didnt change till this day.

there WAS actually a time where at every 60th pull you get an a tier regardless if u got one at like, the 59th 😅. i reckon this is the same with s tiers which is still @ 250th so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

At first I thought it's because it wasn't that good. But then I remembered.
Season 23 was supposed to have the Bungo Stray Dogs Part 1 Essence, but then it got canceled due to historical problems or something like that with Yosano and Kunikida. So we only got a half baked Bungo Stray Dogs event with Atsushi and Dazai as echoes only S-tier shop skins and Ranpo was given out for free as compensation for the delay.
As such, Season 23 is the only season as of July 2023 to only have one essence.

I liked the fourth anniversary, but I still love the third anniversary more. I don't know, something about it was special to me (or maybe I'm just being biased since I joined right before it started)
