Man I tell you what this guy right here actually is a genius!!! I bought a pair of jet skis with no clue how to work on them and i put a battery in them and had nothing, no power they wouldn't turn over. After watching this guys videos now I have two running wave runners that i bought for a fraction of what I would have paid had they been sold to me as lake ready skis! Thanks for saving me thousands of dollars of mechanical repairs and sharing with me your knowledge

In the military me & another grunt were standing on top of a 5000 gallon gas tanker dropping a load of fuel and checking the level of gas through the 15 inch lid on top. The level was right up there still when he took the cigar he was smoking and tapped the inch long ash off right down that hole. All I heard was a sizzle as the gas extinguished the ashes. Other times I saw him lose a stogy into the gas tank accidentally of a jeep he was putting gas into. It simply sizzle out and he reached down and got it out to throw away. We were uncertain if we were going to survive the combat coming our way and we were reckless as you can get. Not uncommon in combat by soldiers.

The whole time i heard that engine struggling to turn freely, im thinking the propeller is getting hung up in its housing. Usually there's a stainless steel liner pressed into an aluminum housing and when these jetski's are run in salt water the metals corrode and it bulges out causing the propeller to bind up. Thats what i ran into with two kawasaki's i had worked on. It's best to isolate the jet drive mechanism from the motor when diagnosing either part of the watercraft. Anyway, im sure you know this already by now. Great videos!

I refer to the movie "Doc Hollywood" the repair guy hands him a box, when he shakes it and looks puzzled the repair tech says " when i put them back together there are always a few spare parts. You go ahead on though.." Seems big business adds some extras that are not really needed. Like in Andrews new video about sinking a new gas tank. He is told the anode pack is checked every year to prevent corrosion. Andrew. Why don't you add one of those to all your new or newly acquired vehicles so that the sacrificial metal block corrodes instead of your vehicles? Would protect your trucks, your cars, you equipment. there are ways around the pitfalls of nature and of stupid society or corporations. Use that big brain and come up with a fix ... even marine vehicles that you mention every time have sacrificial metal blocks bolted to the hull to prevent corrosion from the salt water.
I expect in USA it would be less that $500 per vehicle for the system .. but how much piece of mind? for that little price

@@danieljameschamberlin1726 Not only that, he was actually using a battery powered impact, not an air impact. I doubt that battery powered impact will create enough torque to damage a spark plug. An air impact or electric impact probably would, but not that little battery powered one. Even if it would, I'm sure Andrew had the clutch drawn down so it wouldn't do any damage.

    • @armandogonzalez6822

@@masterspacetime2826 So instead of spewing asinine know-it-all comments into the ether of the interwebz, let's keep our comments in line with the context of this video. I have that exact same, or at least very similar, Craftsman battery impact, and it's not going to produce enough torque to break off spark plugs. Additionally, my Snap-On air impact produces 2 - 8 times the torque my Craftsmen battery impact does. For you "professionals" those types of battery impacts may be common place, but for us regular folk, air impacts are still torque kings. However, to stay on task, that Craftsman impact does not produce enough torque to do any damage, and if you say otherwise, you're either a liar or completely ignorant. Now, if he were using that DeWalt or Kobalt electric impact he has, that would definitely be ill-advised, but that wasn't the case, now was it?
