We saw that Texans offense not being held back by penalties in that first half and it was awesome. It got dicey in the second half but I am oddly satisfied with that win
Bobby has to call a better game. The last few games have been questionable at times when it comes to play calling. Offensive line has been better but needs to keep improving and the team as a whole needs to be more discipline. We have had costly penalties every week that seems to kill drives. A lot to work on so lets get back to work boys. Good team win.

You are right, only gave up 160 yard vs vikings… thats crazy 34 points on 274 yards of offense

I think our defense is actually better than our offense.
Anthony Richardson had a 212 yd game against us. Granted they were mostly 50/50 so it’s not like he carved us up.

The second half was a disaster. So lucky we won. Slowik is testing my patience. 45s left and we pass to lose a chance to kick a fg with ,
I did NOT like that.
That pass play at the end instead of running it was egregious by Slowik. Crazy how much he loved running every other play except when it made sense. Would like answers on that in the next press conference, I want accountability even in a win.
Was it just me that saw the winning kick going wide left first then miraculously the ball starts to turn right for a good field goal. I was so thankful.!

Gritty win. We dont block anything well. Bobby sloik isn't getting any HC interviews after this season. There were many questionable decisions. So proud of Stroud. He is playing very mature. We are lucky to have him. O line needs to buy in asap!!!!

For sure. There's good reason for some of it though.
@@codystoots1 Fisher being a big factor I would imagine. He really struggled today so I get it. But the opening drive and on 4th down to not just qb sneak and get inches didn’t make sense with me.

Iam content with this win. Yes there were some jitters, however the Texans are only going up from here.

Great Summary. I thought the injury to Nico obviously affected our ability to spread the Bills out, I imagine thats easier to game plan for if you know the player isnt available for the game vs dealing with the injury in game. Running game gonna struggle without Mixon, hated the 4th and 1 playcall. Defense was gritty and fast. Fun season so far, though not good for stomach ulcers.

I'm with you. Not mad that we went for it but the call was not good. Run play action out of that, have the ball in Stroud's hands.
I tend to agree with you on Slowik, give him a C+ good at times questionable at others. He seems to approach the run game like we has a McCaffery and we just don’t have the talent. Ours is the receivers. The important thing is we won and are 4-1. .
Good call to go for it on 4th and short. Bad play call considering we could not run the ball well.
What is your thoughts on the intentional grounding? Not the play call but the flag?

It’s concerning that the offense kind of lost its luster when Collins went out. We are supposed to have all these offensive weapons but without a running game this team worries me.
A few things.. Gotta play 60 minutes.. That one good half ish reminds me of O’Brien.. I agree you gotta run it at the end and burn the clock for a FG attempt..
You know I’m old school, so that 90 or so yards they got on the ground was huge.. And finally, the end around package needs to be pass first, then come back with the run..

Still no use of Tank. Nico guts out a play when he was already playing with a hami injury. I told u Dare would be ok with Cam.

Not gonna lie, from my view watching the game it seemed like the refs had a huddle at halftime and decided they can’t let the bills get blown out 2 weeks in a row. They just stopped calling stuff against the bills and started calling the most minuscule stuff imaginable against us. We definitely made some bad mistakes but the officiating in the second half outright made the game look rigged.

Slowik play calling has been very predictable this year, glad we got the win but this team has a wayyyyyy higher ceiling than we have shown thus far

There are some quirky calls.
This cannot go unsaid. If you’re a TE you have to block every damn time. Shultz has a bad habit of not blocking during critical times. Cade should take his spot totally after the bye week. IMO. Oh, and Fisher outperformed Titus.

No need to go through all the trouble. You already don't have a legit offensive play caller.
Slowiks deal is he seemingly refuses to adjust to not having Mixon. Think about all the calls we’re considering questionable, all the first down runs, but then think about if Mixon was back there. They would probably actually work.
The problem lies in that we know we don’t have mixon right now, but Bobby seems to be incredulous to that fact and will not adjust the game plan.
I also wonder if our coaches are too “bro” with the locker room, everyone’s best friend, but hey, we’re 4-1 and will figure it out and get healthy. Harris, autry, Nico, Mixon
Your last concern is not one that I would be worried about.

The defense seems to be more complete right now then the offense and if it wasn’t for our defense we wouldn’t have won some of these games got to give it to the defense
I was so excited when I heard last off season that Texans were in talks with Cliff Kingsbury for OC and then they went with slowik. Look how Cliff has the commanders offense looking… bad move by the Texans

But on a positive note, in the preseason I feel like we were most worried about the linebacker core and they are the best unit on the defense.
