Hi Blake and Happy New Years. This is the restart of my Aquarium hobby. I actually tried taking it up a few years but my health became bad and could not take it up. I have followed you for quite awhile. My kidney failure was not very conducive to aquariums. Right now I am hooking up my domestic water to an RO filter. I just got the rest of what I needed today! I don't have too many friends because of the job I used to do and it leaves me or left me little time to work on fish. I am thinking about befriending nearly anyone just so I can see what is happening out here. Anyway, Happy New Year, I hope you are well!
Happy New Year Blake. Yes I've been wanting to change things up a little bye taking on a new type of fish. Have a few in mind but haven't decided on the right one. Thanks for sharing
I have a large community tank that's currently overrun with mystery snails. Once they're big enough to give away, I want to get my pearl gouramis to breed. They're my favorite freshwater fish.
Really great, applicable list! Having similar thoughts as well. I have 50 tanks in a designated room. Really tempted to order one of your 3D printed auto egg catchers for something simple like longfin leopard danios.
Happy New Year 🎊 My plan is to break down my tank and start fresh with aquarium soil and attempting a proper aquascape I'm a little nervous as I'll be taking all the fish out then reintroducing them to the tank hopefully I have no deaths, but I am really excited ☺️
I LOVE my white cloud mountain minnows! Prettier in real life, very easy to keep. If I could go back in time, I would only have them, my 2 pearl gourami and my hillstream loaches in my 55.
I need to re scape my 55, but I really can't seem to find a beginning place, first I have to find/buy plastic tubs to put my fish in... and then tear it down, I have quite a few fish who are nearly impossible to net, thinking of pulling hardscape and plants first, but don't want to hurt the fishes... plus I work full time... ugh... never seems to be the right time or enough time... easier to procrastinate than to just do it....
Happy New Year. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and insights.
